    No, add to the fact he's adept to playing at rb ( scotland ) and cb and there wont be many close to him for his age group. The big clubs will be sniffing around him soon enough with formal bids. ( I know it's been reported in some cases like arsenal last year )

    Exactly, me and my bro were speaking about this yesterday, no club will find a player like that anywhere else and if hes to go ( which he wont right now) we should be looking at getting crazy money for him when the time is right.

    No he's * not! Not even for that kind of money. He doesn't want to go and we don't have to sell.

    He can stay here for 6 more years, win a * ton of trophies for the club he loves, hopefully a European run or two and then cut out the middle man and join Barcelona, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich directly.

    My only fear is Celtic don't give him a wage that reflects his market value, because he's an academy product, homegrown and Scottish..

    I know he signed a new deal last season but we should be making him one of our highest earners with Sinclair and Broonie..

    We should take any financial debate away and make it purely a Football decision..

    Better chance of that happening nowdays, i think the tables have turned somewhat in the transfer market since vvd and hopperrr, now we have more power with players like Teirney and Moussa im alot more hopeful of keeping hold of them under Brendan, KT especially but who knows. Barca would be a good move for him anyhow.
