Love the wee man but he looks absolutely *..

Been calling for him to get a rest and I'm hoping Brendan has a word with Strachan..

His poorest game for us today by some distance..

Even the best have the occasional off-day. International break'll give everyone a chance to recharge.

All over the place today. Defensively poor, offensively weak.

Can't really complain as he's one of the most consistent young players about.

Looks shattered at times, injury lay off probably kicking in after coming straight back into the team.

Izzy's more than capable of stepping in. Don't think he's been a liability but he's definitely looking off, and could do with a rest.

I'd like to see that back 4 against Hearts.

I wouldn't even say as late, today and last week yes but he's been as good as always the last month or so before that

I said in the match thread that he looked like he was going to collapse near the end, he looked that knackered. Then I remembered he isn't long back from an injury lay off so should be quite fresh.

In any case it wouldn't do him any harm to sit one or two out and give Izzy a run.

Be lying if I said the period but second half it zoomed in on him and he was mouth wide open breathing heavy about to take a throw, but taking his time catching a breath..

He's doing a power of running every game and with high demands. He absolutely needs to be pulled out or off now and again, as someone as Celtic daft as him, isn't going to ask or show it..

He's young. Playing a lot and just back from injury and a separate operation..

Looked frustrated when the camera was on him at times too, he knows he's not quite fully firing but he'll be back soon.

Aye I would say it was just the last two games I've noticed it. Against the huns though he made a wonderful nutmeg to get into the box but like Sinclair today there was no one to pass it to.

Definitley needs a rest. As has been mentioned, he would run himself into the ground for Celtic if asked to. And he covers some amount of ground in that position. I don't think there's any other player who plays for Celtic so much. I'm not saying he's our best player all the time but quite a lot of the time he puts in a MOTM performance and you can tell it's because he's Celtic through and through. If he wasn't playing football he'd still have his season ticket and I bet he's one of the most passionate voices in the crowd.

I reallly love him for being so Celtic. Well also the fact he's brilliant.

Get Izzy in although if he doesn't play during the internationals then he might be refreshed. But Izzy has been very good this season. Especially since he left in the summer :bye1:

You can see him struggling even early on, hopefully get a rest and come back stronger, nothing to worry about just a rare dip in form for him which looks down to his fitness levels.

Maybe putting in too much work through the week and its catching up with him.

    Absolute superstar.

Genuinely think he could reach the level of someone like Azpilicueta. His reading of the game is frightening. Bailed out Martin and Mulgrew tonight big time.

What a performance and means so much that he was the left back trusted to go to the other side, if he was anything but scottish he would be priceless
