The sad thing is, Dalglish would probably even agree with that. You'd think he only ever played for Liverpool the way he talks.

 

A lot of people have their opinions on Dalglish , the way he left us etc but what cannot be disputed is the ability of the player and he is in the top 3 ever to wear the hoops along with Larsson and Johnstone at no.1.

 

Kenny Dalgleish world class player who played for Celtic, a Celtic man he definitely is not! you can actually sense the insincerity when he talks about Celtic. Might be a legend at Liverpool he's defo not one at Celtic.

My old man was the same hated him, Danny Mcgrain springs to mind he was from the same era as Dalgleish, Danny's a proper Celtic Legend loved by the fans.

 

Whole thing is the height of nonsense. If that is what gives Kenny a hard on, rock away Kenny and Maj.....

 

Deserves it more than the chap from national rail getting a CBE at least

 

There's no doubt Danny was a world class player and is a Celtic Legend much loved by all fans today as then because he was Celtic through and through (even though originally like Dalglish he wasn't) and still is but even though they were both before my time I know for a fact Dalglish was a world class player loved dearly by the majority of the support when he played for us and is a Celtic Legend when it comes to players but as someone said before he's a Liverpool Legend and belongs to them and their support.

He's their best ever player but there's a long queue in front of him when it comes to our best ever player I personally think as we've had so much world class quality in our history.

It must be the John Barnes disrespectful disaster. He really disappointed me then but before that I don't remember anyone saying a bad word about him regarding his time here.

Also, I don't like us calling former Celtic players huns. As long as a player plays their very best football then they're a Celtic player, maybe not a Tim but definitely not a hun. There is one obvious exception to this rule...

Anyway, I don't mean to preach, every fan is entitled to think what they want, it's just something that winds me up a little.

 

Fair play to him, but I've never really been too arsed about the guy, I get the impression he doesn't seem to bother too much with Celtic which is fair enough I suppose however he became a top class player here so you'd think he would appreciate the club a bit more
