[Link] Kelvin Wilson to Forest

I very much doubt Wilson would want to go and work with Billy Davies again. Especially since it was him that put Wilson out of football for 6 months after he signed a PCA with us by refusing to play him.

 

If he wants to go then we have to at least negotiate with them. I'd ask for £6-7m to try and scare them off, but if they came back in with £4.5-5m I think we'd have to accept that. Would be gutted to see him go, but as I say, if doesn't want to be here, he doesn't want to be here.

 

He could do so much better than going back to poxy Forest or Leicester. Should be playing in the EPL if he leaves.

 

He is more than good enough to play for one of the 3 promoted teams. Villa, Southampton, Sunderland and West Ham could all do with him too.

 

Would be criminal selling wilson, that would arguably be us having sold our best striker, midfielder and defender from the season, the spine of our team.

 

* sake, I would be absolutely raging if big Kelvin left. Was my POTY last season and is one of our most important players now. He was made for those European games as well

Selling Wilson would be ridiculous, he's came on to a game this past year and it would unsettle the defence

 

I would be gutted in he left ,but if he wants away better to let him go if we get a decent fee and have a player who wants to be here.

Wilson can be easily replaced. I'd take the money.

From what I have saw during pre-season he seems good but I still think its too early to judge but he wasn't playing like a guy who hasn't played football in over a year. I think if he was to get a good run of games then he could turn out to be a very good defender imo

 

Hoping this is a load of BS, as I worry about the prospect of Wilson playing midweek in a * crucial game if his head's not in the right place.

Bigger picture, if we were to get 2.5 million for him, i'd not be averse to taking it if he wants away. He had a good season last year, but I still have concerns with him if truth be told.

 

To be honest, as much as he has improved, i'd take 3million. Its decent money and great profit on him. We have numbers for backup so not a massive loss. Still would prefer him to stay

 

I wouldn't stand in any players way once they say they want to go, get as much as possible for him! Just don't like the fact that players are willing to go to lesser clubs while managing to be first team players at Celtic. With mulgrew Ambrose van the man and frazer as cover I think a quality centre half is something we need now as Wilson was our best centre back last season. Annoying before champions league game.
