He is worth more than the RUMOURED £2.5M. Just lost last seasons best striker, out best midfielder and now the best centre back. We really have to go and bring in at least 2 QUALITY players, starting with a top striker.

Wilson goes with my best wishes though, just a pity he couldn't stay.

    Is this confirmed now?

If so good luck to the guy, it's a shame it hasn't worked out for him here but good business by the club.

It's a shame, good player. We'll need to find a replacement now, Ambrose isn't up to the task. Mulgrew can slot in but is best as a utility man.

He'll regret turning his back on European football for the Championship, why can't his family come up here? Works for everyone else.

Good luck to him though, was quality in Europe last season

Obviously there are personal reasons behind it. That's good enough for me.

The big man isn't stupid. He came here for a reason in the first place, he knows this was a big step up for him and he'll know that he's taking a step down now.

Quite liked Kelvin up until this point, if he wanted out he shouldn't have gave interviews stating he was ready for this season and saying how he's glad to be settled.

He's not following his ex, he's following his daughter. I have total respect for the guy showing commitment to being a good father. I think it's clear that he would have loved to have stayed here, but would do anything for his daughter and sadly that now means taking a step backwards in his career.
