Agreed. No matter how much of a pro you are, it's gotta * with you mentally. Very poor form from Forest all in al, right back from how they ignored Wilson when we signed him, up til this summer tapping him up and no doubt in his family and agent's earhole.
Maybe Forest have kidnapped his daughter!

This also seems awfully like the Ambrose-JuveGate situation to me!
Wilson's been fantastic and dependable for us for ages, but so was Efe until that fateful night.......

I want(ed) more than 3 mill for Wilson but considering we got him on a free and he's not the youngest member of the squad, it's not atrocious business selling him for 2.5. I would hope there are clauses in it for sell on, promotion, and the likes as I think Forest are the richest championship team, sure they have some Arab squillionaires behind them so maybe could be doing a mini Man City this season.

Be a big shame to lose Wilson as he's been great for more than a year now, whereas Efe's turned poor, Mulgrew's been * for awhile and is now a LB/LM/CM/CB aka Lennon's swiss army knife. Also, none of the 2 new CBs have proven themselves at all and none of the youngsters have had any real game time.

 

Some of the things said about him in here are terrible, he's made a massive improvement in the last year and was absolutely fantastic last year, especially against barca. I wish him all the best.

It's rag talk but sadly i'm fairly certain it is true. We could have sold him a week ago but Lenny has been desperate to keep him for at least these 2 Elfsborg games.

I wish Wilson nothing but good luck but I think it's been a poor show from Forest as two of our heroes, Lennon and MON once played for them, so their should have been more respect shown I feel. Do your business privately like we always do. Seriously, how many of us had a single clue about the signings of Kayal, Izzy, Wanyama, Hooper, Van Dijk ect until they actually happened?

All this leaking to the pess and tapping up * these days * me off.

 

So that's us lost our best striker, our best midfielder and after tonight we'll have lost our best defender?

Wilson will hurt the most for me though because it's one thing losing the other two BUT losing Wilson to the team that * him off for six months no matter what price is taken would be a real kick in the balls

 

Real shame this one as although he's not a great centre back and has his flaws he really turned round his career here and shut most of us up and is our best centre back..
Some standout performances and possibly player of the year,who woulda thought that after his shaky season before..
Not me..

I think it's pretty much a certainty that he's off in the next week or so..
My gut feeling that is..

Nope, signed him on a free contract when he was free to talk to other clubs.

 

I was under the impression that he and Celtic had a deal in place when he was still under contract. He played in the reserves for quite a while because of it.

 

We can kiss goodbye to the last 16 this season that's for sure, this club is fast becoming a joke we are far too soft with our players, * him feeling homesick Lenny should tell him he's under contract here deal with it

 

Absolutely gutted.
Best defender at the club by far leaving on a small (profit) transfer.

we need to do some real strengthening this season if we want to compete in europe again.
a main Striker, main Defender, back up left back and a first squad technical midfielder

 

We signed him on a pre-contract in January when he had 6 months left on his current deal, there's nothing shady about that - very common in football these days.
