Get a full pre season with the first team under his belt and keep him in the squad next season.

I want him with the first team squad next season, he needs game time.

Training with better players has shown his development so far. Playing with better players will improve him 10 fold.

There is something special about him and if I’m honest he could be a superstar in the making.

We have a good few cracking youngsters at the club who need bleeding into the side or sent out on loan to get first team football! It’s vital for their progression.

Made a mockery of Burke today.

The difference in impact and footballing ability was just shameful from Burke's perspective.

This lad needs more game time, he's slight frame might even mean he can't be tackled as he'd get a * ton of free kicks l.

I dunno, but he looked a plyer today.

Good thing is he seems wiser than his age. A lot of players these days even older than him would’ve took that tackle and rolled about for a bit but he got up and created a chance for himself. He also used the ball well. If we manage him properly the sky is the limit for him

He looked like a breath of fresh air. We looked stale going forward until he came on.

    Exciting prospect.

    Totally agree with that.

Anytime I have seen him get interviewed he always sounds really grounded.

Good luck to the young lad . He'll need game time to progress , but his size is a wee bit of a disadvantage just now . I hope he has a great career in football , and enriches Celtic either by playing for the team , or by a massive transfer fee coming into our coffers . I'd appreciate his contribution as a player more than any financial gain .

I said to my wee lad yesterday it was too soon for him to come into first team. Shouldn’t have fretted he outshone some of the Bhoys in hoops in the second half. Nice weighted passes and don’t think he lost the ball. Kept it simple and sorry he didn’t take the free kick. Hopefully more game time start of next season.

Aye, the reaction of the fans when he didn't take the free kick I thought was hilarious.

It was a perfect storm for his debut; meaningless game against a young opponent and a 45 minute cameo.

He has put on some amount of muscle in literally 6 months but it’s clear as day he’s got a way to go.

Have to say the most impressive thing about him is the fact he isn’t a greedy wee *, even when the crowd are willing him to be. Composed in his decision making which is incredible to see on a guy that’s just turned 16. We’ve got a player in the squad that’s made transfers of 30 million quid that couldn’t lace his bad foot.

Having been a big fan of following many youth players in Barcelona's academy over the years, you begin to see the age groups where these young talents demonstrate they can replicate it at the senior level. 16 is really the age and a few years later, Dembele looks every bit the sensational talent he looked at 13

Question now will become, how soon is too soon to make him a regular senior team player? The clock starts now IMO, I can't see him not being a full senior player by start of 2020 season

Too late, my call into Bartomeu has already been put in :celt_smil

Nah, he's really something. I remember seeing him at 13 and still being soo impressed by him. Rare to see that sort of polish in a debut at 16

    In a year's time I'd imagine roughly..

Hopefully he takes some kinda growth spurt in that time and get's the odd run out whilst continuing with the reserves..

It's surreal seeing him make his debut. Last 3 years have flown since he first burst onto the scene with that video.

Still has a way to go physically but that's a given. Technically hes unreal already.
