As a surprise gift for the Mrs. She is away till Christmas day. I have went to set the thing up and I'm getting an error message. It's saying that the pump needs to have a certain temperature before it works. If the pump gets too cold does anyone know if this stops it working??

I’m an engineer fixing boilers etc . I’d be guessing now but a pump is a pump and they Work pretty much the same way . Aslong as a pump isn’t running dry or pumping * water They are pretty much bulletproof . I can’t think of any reason why a pump should fail if the water was cold a . Don’t see how it would be an issue personally hot or cold wouldn’t make the slightest bit of difference . Mayby a safety feature if the pipe work would become frozen possibly ? After all it is something to be outside .

Go online and type in model number and user guide. Also the problem you need sorting. Usually there is something that will help.
Good luck and have a Merry Christmas.

Lazy spa website says their that type of code comes up when water temp is below 4 degrees C. Pump/system not designed to work when the water temp that low apparently... Add water from your hot water tap to raise temp then start it. It will then regulate temp at whatever you set it too.

I agree although I could be wrong. Heating pumps that pump piping hot water can pump hot and cold water. Can't see why a tub would be any different. A pump is a pump and can only see it not working if it was frozen.

Never mind the hot wayer. Fill that thing full of ice and jump in. Amazing health benefits doing this. Been waiting to try it for awhile now.

    I have a lazy spa

We don't use it in the winter as its liable to freeze the pump

If your new to this make sure you have your chemicals in straight from the off as well

My advise wait till summer pal

Yeah, just don't turn the heating on ya dafty :eek1: . A tub full of ice has amazing health benefits if you can tune your brain into managing to sit in it for any length of time.
