He's absolutely gash. Devoid of any confidence he once had. I'd nearly rather JH

 

Needs to step up this month.

 

I like Jozo, always have. I really thought when he signed (and still do) that theres a player in there waiting to break out.
But having watched him closely Wednesday I'm convinced he absolutely hates playing football, he just does it cause it pays the bills.

 

He’ll do the job for us on a rotational basis

 

Hopefully steps up and stays injury free,big few months for him.

 

See thing is I don't think he's that bad a player at all, lost his confidence and made quite a few errors- the club treated him pretty * in the first year being here, the lad played with an injury for the first 2 months he was here until he got an operation and was meant to spend the rest of the year out, instead the club were trying to make a quick buck out of him as he himself didn't seem too keen on the deal. Maybe you're getting mixed up with Sviatchenko who would be torn a new one by semi professionals but because he posted 'I love this club' it made up for it and now every post on his social media is 'we need you back Eric'- Nae we * dinae.

Really hope he can step up a level the next couple of months

 

He is a bit like Jan venegoor, he needs a run of games, more so after injury, and his heavily affected by his own confidence.

No doubt, on his day he is a good defender, more than good enough for us. But his injuries are shocking at times and he never gets a run of games that he needs. Perhaps circumstances will allow him and ajer to get that run and build on something.

Away to Hearts one of the most disgraceful performances, I've witnessed from a Celtic Player.

 

No player waiting to break out. Player left the queue and sat down and binge watches Netflix because he can't be arsed. Attitude is just important as skill. I don't think that attitude is there.

 

He should of been gone after that or even the huns game ge got sent off in for throwing a needless elbow, we actually played better with him sent off as well.

I really do think he's poor player. Mentally really weak, his confidence is completely shot. An early mistake and his heads gone for the rest of the game. Some of the performances mentioned above are etched in my mind forever. Bombscare.

Sviatchenko was a cart horse with no pace. He definitely wasn't the answer either.

 

Not good enough for the first 11, but decent enough as back up to the first 3 (Benkovic, Ajer and Boyata). Definitely ahead of the likes of Hendry. The problem is that of our 3 first choice CB's, only Ajer will be here next season.
