The guy more than deserves an extended chance in the team, playing on the left. As has been said he along with gamboa have been criminally underused by Rodgers. They will both get in for a game, play well and then next week they’re nowhere to be seen.

He’s never going to be the star man at the club, but he deserves far more of a chance than what he’s getting. Especially given how * awful we’ve been this season, and it’s the same guys letting us down week after week.

I wish we could bottle his enthusiasm and attitude, pin the likes of Sinclair down and pour it down his * throat!!!

    Brilliant story.

If Hayes can stop people from getting a doing..why don't we play him on the right in front of Lustig?

Nice guy but he’s shown nothing.

Johnny Hayes is not the answer. People surely couldn’t use that as a stick to beat Rodgers with...Usual suspects

He has not had the chance to show anything the game against Livingston he played in his natural position and played well the team played well because it was a more balanced team instead of shoe horning McGregor in there . If Sinclair cant do the job then give him a chance he cant be any worse than Sinclair

I actually think he has played fairly well, just not given much of a chance this season. The answer doesn't always have to be big name players, using and organising your players well is what wins matches. Did that Kilmarnock side that beat us even have a combined weekly salary of that of Brown or Sinclair?

Hayes is a shout, he also has extreme work rate and determination. Things that we’re lacking just now.

Look, I never went anything positive about this guy, but more important than being a good footballer is being a good man. I will be really cheering he shuts my mouth and become a very useful for us from now on. I got a lot of similar * when I was kid and know how big for this child is what Jonny did. He is one of my favourite players in the team now.

Yes. Thing is, if Hayes went to Kilmarnock, a team who beat us, he would their best player. We are lacking balls and determination. If he can bring it, then good.

Think he’s been poor tbh, sinclairs terrible but Hayes wasn’t any better when he played last season, couldn’t beat a man and generally poor crosses.

He was mainly being played on the right, when he was on the left his crossing is much better as is his directness.

You can only use him on the right against teams we have a load of space against. We don’t have that in Scotland.

I'd prefer to see Morgan given a chance rather than Hayes just don't see it with him at all.

Hayes on the left, Forrest on the right.

Can't get anymore direct than that, and it brings a balance to the wings.

Plus wee Griff would * love them two putting balls into the danger area for him.

I hope to * Rodgers sees sense and goes with this...
