    Watched McGinn closely all season and from about October to February I wasn’t overly impressed but having seen him the last 6 weeks in highlights and during their live games I would have to agree with @JC Anton and finally say yes get this boy signed! He has looked every inch the tough tackling driving force we require at Celtic especially if Stuart Armstrong leaves in the summer if you can get £4m plus for Stuart if he wants to go then wouldn’t mind say £2.5m for McGinn!

    Always liked him and I always do tend to like energy, drive, aggression and tenacity in players.

    Loved Barry Robson for the exact same reasons, and he had a cracking left peg on him as well. They might not be the most glamorous type of players but you need guys like Brown, Robson, McGinn and players of that ilk in your squad. Of course, they need to be of the required level as well but I think McGinn can make the step up.

    I'd love us to sign McGinn. Problem is, we already have far too many central midfielders.

    DM: Brown, Bitton, Kouassi
    CM: Ntcham, Armstrong
    AM: McGregor, Rogic, Christie

    (not to mention Allan and Benyu)

    The way I see it, we may need to offload at least 2 of Bitton/Kouassi/Armstrong/Rogic/Christie.

    - Assuming we sign McGinn, Kouassi would hardly ever play.
    - (imo) Bitton sucks.
    - Armstrong and Rogic are out of contract in 2019.

    Really curious to see what will happen next summer.

    Just get this done this summer. He's a ready made first team player at a good age with plenty of experience. Him , Ntcham and Brown is a very combative CM three for Europe.

    Aye I reckon either this summer or next he'll be pulling on a Hoops top. His contract only has a year left to run and Hibs gotta be wanting to cash on in a player who could still bring in a couple of mill even with 12 months to run instead of losing him for nowt next year.
