    I thought McCoist was spot on after the game...the way McGinn backs in to people to turn them and/or win free kicks is fantastic. Uses his body extremely well.

    Aye, can remember him being a proper ball carrier when he started coming through. Playing the 10 away in Italy for Scotland and being our biggest threat, although sometimes awkward with his dribbling but regularly taking people on and trusting his pace..

    I reckon 2 would do it..

    Think the general consensus was 1.5/2 from Ipswich or Forest would've done it in the summer and with another 6 month's of his contract down the line that'll drop with his contract running down..

    Roughly the same age as Brown was when we signed him..(Brown 22 McGinn 23)..

    I guess the question is, has the market in Scotland increased or decreased? When trading a Scottish player between two Scottish clubs??

    Hibs will want 4m+ ...does McGinn have the potential to be as good as Ntcham say?

    Difficult one to judge though when you consider we only paid £1.5m for Armstrong, who showed just as much at United as McGinn has with Hibs.

    With Ntcham a lot of things have to be factored in. He's French, U-21 cap, experience of Serie A and comes from Man City. All of those bump the price up, even if right now there isn't a huge gap in quality between the two. Ntcham has the potential to go further due to his qualities, even if he is a bit up and down just now.

    I don't think £4-5m is a realistic number for them to demand, tbh.

    His contract will have a year left in January I think and next summer he can sign pre contracts..

    Highest wage they could offer would be what, £5-7k. We could double that without blinking, not to mention what English clubs would offer him.

    Can he play centre half lol,thats the priority position not signing someone who might be good enough to replace Scott Brown in 2 years time,football is all about the here and now,not the long term,do you think McGinn would be happy to wait on our bench for 2 seasons?

    I think we will sell Armstrong in January. Makes sense anyway..
