Cant really blame any of the foreign boys having them views of the wee teams. Having to play on them livi and accies pitches arent what they sign up for.

The difference maker is just getting on with it and performing. Genuinely cant remember him ever performing away from home.

For a guy whose career was going nowhere fast at that point I think you can blame them.

There's no doubt that players with ambition can outgrow the league eg. Wanyama or Van Dijk.

But a Man City reserve who wasn't getting a look in, that had injury problems and had only played a handful of decent games for us? Naw. Not for me.

Nah, it’s not. Reading Davie Hay talking a about getting Cadete, Di Canio and Pierre signing is hilarious, basically tried to hide everything about our league and our training ground, basically everything except Celtic Park :56:

Aye but he's from Sweden where half the team's don't even have over 10 thousand stadium's, and plenty without roofs on the stands..

    Glass house's and all that..

But that was 20 years ago. If any * with an agent and access to the internet signs for Celtic and doesn't realise what they are signing up for then I would struggle to have any empathy for the silly *.

    I know mate :56:

Nah but I also know Celtic has so many positives to sell on that the downsides can be hidden at times, every player loves the big games, look at the weekend there, the comedown from beating the third best team in Germany to a * wee plastic pitch in Livingston.

I can understand it. As long as it doesn’t effect what you’re actually doing on the pitch.

But if you're not performing in the league games then you can't just expect to play in the big games so if you sign for Celtic you are signing for the whole package. I'm not saying I expect every player to get as excited about Livingston away as beating Barca but they have to understand when they sign they are signing up for both and indeed if they don't perform in the first ( and training) they shouldn't be playing in the second.

It’s on the Tommy Burns documentary about Fergus asking Ginola if he knew about going to Raith Rovers on a Wednesday night, this had Tommy kicking Fergus under the table as it was basically a done deal. Next thing he signs for Newcastle and we signed Andreas Thom.

Why they sign and whats wanted from them when they sign are different. They know theyre wanted to win all round domestically.

If they have the right attitude they get on with playing against the wee teams and give 100% regardless but theyre doing so looking forward to chances at winning the cups, the hun games and ofcourse the Euro games.

Either the way them * wee astro pitches will become a deterrent to getting players to move here. The dutch Big 3 have recognised it.

Lustig was the one that talked about the state of the astros. I can imagine with Guidettis ego its more to do with the lack of exposure and occassion of Ross county away.

Guidettis just an idiot that did more talking than his talent could back up. His mouth did him in here in the end because he still made a fair contribution in his time.
But that doesnt take away from the reality no one we sign is the rubbing the hands at the thoughts of playing county away. They just get on with it and look forward to the big games.

It is a sad state of affairs when we have to tell new signings they’ll be playing on a plastic pitch possibly 6 times a season in a so called premier league, anyway guidetti can * off I want better than him

I don’t think not liking going way to * wee stadiums and teams doesn’t be not trying or not doing the business. Nobody loves every single thing about there jobs, doesn’t mean they don’t do it and do it well.

And then there’s the Sammy argument :fear:
