I think after Bain agreeing a deal to stay this can be closed. I would like Gordon and Dorus moved on so we can look at a serious number 1 but I think well have to settle for Gordon and Bain as our choices.

Hart is pish, the Bain deal is a belter for us as he has done great and is no risk financially...maybe going forward when Dorus goes and Gordon finally packs it in we will look for another keep but one thing I'm certain of is that it wont be Hart.

    No brainer...

If he came here he'd be head and shoulders above the other goalies in Scotland.

    No.

Our next keeper should come from abroad. There is not a single goalie who would be value for money down there.

To be honest this is the case with players in England in general. The league over pays and players good enough for this league want far more than a player from the French, Belgian, Dutch and even German leagues who are good enough.

Never really thought he was a good keeper. Decent enough for a while but has so many howlers in him. No chance of it happening anyway.

If we had the chance of a like for like deal for Hart as Gordon is on (and got shot of Gordon of course) then I'd be interested, but purely because I want us to try something different to Gordon now.

But I certainly don't think he will be an improvement for us. Guys as bad as Gordon, not as good.

no thanks, can see him going to mls for a nice retirement. Don't know where the bookies are getting their info from, they got the gerrard to rangers prediction right. We are also second favourites to sign Mignolet, so basically any old out of contract gk from england will be linked with us for the next few weeks.

Hart is 31, he's not looking to retire he's looking to get a first team place somewhere and get back in contention for England.
