    Doubt we would get him permanently quite sure Klopp rates him and although he has been injured and played 1 game for klopp quite sure klopp has spent a lot of time with him

    He seems a decent prospect and cover is needed for Erik and Jozo but I would much prefer we signed a young defender to do that rather than develop players for another club. I sense BR feels the same, I reckon that is why Forrest is ahead of Roberts in the team.

    Celtic have been linked with a swoop for Liverpool defender Joe Gomez,

    The 20-year-old moved to manager Brendan Rodgers’ former club from Charlton in the summer of 2015 but a knee injury has limited his chances with the first team.

    It is understood a bid of £3.5 million will be needed to secure his signature, which Brighton are also chasing.

    Would be all over that for that price. From the little I have seen he looks quite powerful, quick and is known to be versatile - Can play left, right and centre back.

    Being English as well, he has high sell on value.
