Any young English player will sign for them over us simply because Gerrard is their manager!

 

I don't think we've been interested in aribo for a while tbh, it's clear to me it was Turnbull then Harper.

 

Good player, will be a good signing for for those *, hope we at least get Harper

 

If we had signed Turnbull and Harper I wouldn’t have cared about them signing Aribo but to be honest from what I’ve watched Aribo looks to probably be the best prospect out of the 3.

Total mismanagement again by the club in the transfer market. Could be losing out on 3 targets here

Although it wasn’t guaranteed that Turnbull was going to come in and be a great player for us, I was just buzzing that we were putting up the cash and getting a player in early.

If this deal falls through the club need to accelerate the rest of their recruitment even if this isn’t their fault. Like the rest of us I’m fed up watching us fail every summer.

 

I never like the look of him, although only seen him once. We need a defensive midfielder, someone who can replace brown and be fine sitting back and Aribo looked to me like a guy who was better running about with the ball and trying to get forward although technically poor similar to Stephen Pearson or someone like Sissoko for Spurs.

Sort of type who wouldn't really be much use to us against packed defences.

 

Will be a coup if they manage to sign him to be honest..

Free and will deffo make a decent profit on him..

Surprised we seemingly haven't went for him ourselves..

 

Almost 23 and still playing in League 1....

 

At 23 hugh Hefner was a virgin, some are late developers but go onto massive things.

 

Unless he’s an * magazine business on the up-n-up, I fail to see how this is relevant.
