    Not really, both old British centre midfielders that struggle on a weekly basis in the premier league and have a good game every 5-6. This rumour of Joe Allen is the same people that write the same crap about Mcgeady coming back and Borini joining us, from that * website 'hitc'

    No chance of signing Allan now that Stoke have appointed Lambert, he'll want a couple of weeks to access him in training. Allen started at Old Trafford last night also.

    It's a non-goer.

    Press conference at Stoke is in 10 minutes. Maybe they'll give an indication as to what budget he's got and whether he comes in for one or two of our players. Joe Allen would be excellent here, but Lamberts not exactly a popular choice just yet, so he'll need to be very careful. They signed three so far, but not big names. Good players though by the looks of it.
    Joe Allen got sold to celtic, Lamberts jacket would be on a very shooglie peg, but most certainly their is potential to cut some deals with a more Celtic friendly manager who just needs a few wins to steady the ship.
