Would love to see that back three too. Hoping Brendan can convince Boyata to stay a bit longer.

Still seeing papers/sites saying Denayer 'not keen' on SPL though, which is offputting.

“Galatasaray was a great experience for me - much more so than at Celtic, where it was too easy.”

That the quote from the Scottish Sun? Seems like made up, anti-Celtic * from me. I'd take Patrick Roberts more seriously

"Jason Denayer did it last year and he did very well. I spoke to him and he said it was a very, very good club. So I was happy with what he said and I was really excited. He said he never wanted to leave. He enjoyed it so much he kept bragging on about it every time I asked him."

Wouldn't take him simply on the basis that he thinks he is above us, yes he was good but playing with gala in turkey is not a step up from us, maybe under Delila but these days if our defence was sorted we have to be at very least on par with that mob.

I do wonder that myself. Edouard had been known by some for scoring lots of goals at u17 and 19 levels for France and the only 2 signing from foreign teams over the past 5 windows were Compper and Kousassi. We used to look abroad and often where we got some of our best players, although some serious flops came with. However you have to look at Wanyama, Van Dijk, Lustig, Ajer, Rogic, Sung Yeung and of course Henke to see quality is out there.
