    That's true.

He could have done a lot worse than come back here though. Well, in fact, he has.

    I would.

Same as I would say about anyone who comes here and ends up in the spotlight due to the exposure we give them, then turn around and say what we have to offer them isn't good enough.

    * him, and * the rest of them.

Just watching him on Match of the Day. He looks clueless and standing in the middle of nowhere all the time.

I've no idea what's happened to him.

The more i see him now the more i think van dijk made him look better than he was , van dijk is coasting it down in the premiership and linked with big money moves were as denayer is struggling , also the scottish league is not to demanding. Denayers goal record made him stand out a little better also in scotland

He does play for Sunderland to be fair. The whole team is useless. Don't think midfield is his position, Moyes has played him there a fair bit.

I never really got what all the fuss was about him.

It appears he was a danny wilson in disguise?

Denayer is a bit younger than Virgil. Think he left us too soon for his own good TBH, but he'll come good. I'm sure he'll be an excellent EPL standard defender in a couple of years. Whether he'll ever hit Virgil's heights is another matter. I really don't rate Moyes as a coach either TBH.

In my opinion I'm not sure if he's completely levelled out, but not sure he's ever gonna be that top level talent he was touted to be. I always saw a quick CB that was terrific on the ball, but I don't think I can ever picture him being a dominant force at the back, just dont think its his style really.
