Has he not just signed a new 5 year deal with City? Can't see them selling him, never mind for 5m!

Not a chance we could buy him now.

In the nightmare scenario where Virgil leaves, another year-long loan for Denayer gives us a full year to scout the globe and find his replacement.

Small bit naive, wouldn't expext that from you Shane :icon_mrgreen:

No chance we're signing Denayer permanently. City would want in excess of £10m, and he doesn't want to leave City permanently.

    Not so sure.

City have just signed Otamendi.... It was only a few days ago that Denayers agent was saying that if city sign another high quality CB then he was going to find Denayer a new club as he'd been promised games.

Would love to have him on another season long loan. He deserves a shot at City though, demichelis? Pft, Jason is better than him.

How much do you think he's on now though? If john guidetti was on 25K then surely something similar. If was on the books of most other teams i would say we could get him for 3-4 mil and just offer like a 30%-40% sell on clause as everyone knows we can boost the values of players.

City however don't give a flying F about how much money they will get in 2-3 years time haha as they have such ridiculous amounts.

It would be fantastic getting him back but I can't see it happening. He'll go out on loan to another EPL team likely.

L'Equipe say Jason Denayer might join Marseille on loan. Clubs haven't found an agreement yet, although City want to loan him out. #MCFC

Was obvious they were never going to use him I feel.

If we can qualify for the CL we would still be a good option.

From what I've seen of Sunderland he's been in midfield far more than he's been in defence.
