Already said frimprong bucks the trend and I have no objection to players who are good enough to walk into the first team regardless of age vast majority of the time it aint the case

 

Feels like the first time in years where we don't need multiple signings urgently. A striker, definitely, but anything else would be a bonus providing we lose some bloat.

Feels strange not to be considering divvying out sexual favours in return for a right back

Just have to make sure it's real quality coming in though if it's the 2 or 3 signings..

Heard Sutton on Sporar again last night that must look like happening for us..

 

Sporar would be the ideal signing in terms of quality to compete with Eddie and, if the inevitable happens and he's gone in the summer an eventual replacement who's bedded in.

Another CB who could offer the same in that position as well as I'm sure there'll be interest in Ajer and Jullien come summer too.

We don't need much tbh, couple of loans on top of that and I'd be satisfied with the whole squad.

 

I'm fairly relaxed about this window. Possibly a lot do do with Congerton having left. More than willing to give Hammond and Lennon a chance. You have to be fair.

 

First thing we need to do is sign Big FF on a permanent deal.

then bring in the following, centre half, defensive midfielder and a forward.

For the above is essential to compete in all fronts till the end of the season.

 

Rarely look at transfer thread as don't think there is much point building up my hopes. But is there any chance we will get Big Vic and Benkovic?

 

This window will not change anything. This is what the board wanted. They wanted Old Firm back and the money that comes with it. More tickets, more TV channels broadcasting = more money for the pile. The way I see it is that Lawell and co will look at the situation and say there is nothing to worry about because we're 2 points ahead, even though they have game in hand. They look at targets and I bet one of them was "Top of league by January - we change nothing, 2nd and we invest a bit." So in business plan, this target is achieved and they will simply do * all. Performances do not matter for them. The general feeling or fans satisfaction certainly don't. It's just numbers and at the moment we are 1st so why bother?

 

We need a striker & a no nonsense animal in midfield.

Striker, defensive midfielder, right winger to challenge forrest, centre back.

Nothing less!

 

One good thing about the defeat today.

 

If the board don't spend in January and we don't strengthen, not projects but ready made players, and we lose the League, with it 9 /10 iar. Then season ticket sales will take a hammering, income will be lower, even this board are not stupid enough to gamble with that.....or are they?

 

Centre back (Ajer isn't one); Right Winger (Forrest has to have competition, improved dramatically with Roberts around); Striker (can't rely on Eddie staying for the rest of the season), Forster on a perm and Ely on a perm (wishful thinking beyond belief I know but it's what we need).

 

I take back what I said. I want big, bad * with a dirty streak.

 

We need a monster in the middle, a quality striker to challenge Eddy and a right winger to challenge or replace Forrest when he goes missing for months.

So We'll go out and sign a right back and a keeper
