Over the next two transfer windows, I would like to see us bring in:

    One goalkeeper (Forster?)
    Two centre-halves
    One defensive midfielder
    One box-to-box midfielder
    One left-winger (Elyounoussi?)
    Two strikers

    And get rid of:

    Gordon
    Bauer
    Ralston
    Šimunović
    Hendry
    Kouassi
    Benyu
    Morgan
    Hayes
    Sinclair
    Miller
    Arzani
    Griffiths
    Bayo

Shved is surely good enough to deputise for Forrest, no?

I think so but we're breaking him in very very gently for whatever reason..

Think it'll be next season we see him really get a shot or when the league is wrapped up this season...as long as he's no out on loan..

How much is the Forster fee by the way?

Would love us to arrange signing Mo as well..

Our squad is bloated. Too many ordinary players that are never going to cut it.
14 out and 4 quality in.
If we were able to offload those 14, would be a * of a wage that could be used to upgrade. Reckon close to 200K a week total for all those, so there's scope for 4 or 5 quality upgrades.
Not sure we need 2 center backs in, if we could offload Joso and Hendry, get in the like of Benko, that would give us 3 specialist center halfs-CJ, Ajer and Benko. Would also have Bitton and ElHam-they 2 actually play together center back for country.
We need to splash coin like we did for CJ and Eddy, that's the standard we need to aim at.
For me, this transfer window should see us prioritize the permeant singing of MoEly and FF. And a proven goal scoring striker to help Eddy. Also Benko, and I would be content.
Long-term, need to find the new Eddy and Browns eventual successor.

    For me, its his unreliability.
Seems injury prone, cant play on plastic.
And we should always be looking to improve/upgrade.

It's only easy to get rid of players and who are coming to the end of contracts. Players like Griff, Bayo, Hendry and Simunovic will likely be on more than what other clubs are willing to pay.
Bauer is useful to have while El Hamed is injured, as back up to Frimpong is needed. So I would like to see him finish the season.
Gordon will be gone at the end of the season as his contract ends
Ralston. I think will be going at the end of his contract. I'm sure he will get a contract from an spfl team.
Jozo, he has a year left. He could go but may be kept as back up as we don't have many cbs
Hendry will sit on his tod collecting his wage until his contract runs out in 2.5 years
Kouassi, will probably sit out his contract.
    Benyu, sit out contract
Morgan, you could loan him out but only clubs in spfl will take him and has 2.5 years left.
Hayes, think will stay another year as a utility man.
Sinclair I would hope he goes in January but expect he will wait til his contract winds down.
Miller probably leave, but doubt he is paid much so won't free up cash.
Arzani, feel for the boy his injury after 10 mjns has held his career back. Unless he starts appearing soon there won't be a loan extended.
Griffiths will be here even as back up for a while yet.
Bayo, id still like to see more of him.

We need a CB and DM this window. Since our non-strikers score so much, using Griffiths or Bayo to rest Edouard shouldn't be a big deal.

Obviously getting unrealistic valuations on our early targets, given Lennys comments..

Would be good to get in early, but the squad doesn’t need major surgery..

Would be happy with a ST, CB and DM.. but as long as we get a real quality ST in I’d be satisfied.

    I would be happy with:
The 2 Saints on permanent deals.
    Benko
    A striker

If you look at it over the next 2 Windows. So what we have going forward to kick off the season in Sept going for 10 in a row.

Foster signed Bain as back up. We can let Gordon go.

Full backs we are fine. Keep Bauer till the end of the season giving young O'Connor a chance to get into the fold. Left back maybe not as strong as right back, but Lennon mentioned before about frimpong could play either side and O'Connor can place anywhere along the back.

Centre half needs addressed. We will be lucky to get hold of both Jullien and Ajer. Bitton and when fit El Ham are decent cover. But we need at least one or potentially two centre halves brought in with one ideally in the January window. Ajer will attract attention in the summer window without doubt.

Defensive central midfield - Brown and mcgregor in there. I actually like Christie in there too. But we need at least one more body in there. Ntcham is quality player. And on his day is Celtic best player, but does he of set the balance of the team at times?? Anyway I think he will go before summer window closes. This is an area we will target in these two Windows

Attacking central midfield - Christie holds the 10 shirt. Rogic is my favourite player but I think he will also go in the summer. MJ is an option in that area. He's so tidy with the ball at his feet and his awareness is growing as he gets more experience. He can adopt that role if needs be. But we need another number 10 if Rogic does depart.

Wingers - Forrest and MJ will be there. Hayes great utility man but time potentially him and Morgan go in the summer. Shved needs to bulk up and rumours about his workrate need addressed if true. A loan in Jan for 6 months to see how he gets on. Weather he can join us in the summer or we loan him out for the year in the summer or cut our losses. His goal rate for a winger in a league a standard no worse than ours must mean a player in there. Hes got high praise in Ukraine and is an international player. Sinclair will be away. Arzani is a rare one. I thought he would just see out his two year loan deal on the treatment table. Rumours not long ago we want to extend that. If that's true we must believe a player is there. I'd love super Mo to stay. But he won't come cheap. So the wings might see the biggest upheaval with more comings and going than any area of the pitch.

Striker - will we kick of Sept for 10 in a row with French Eddie leading the line. While I'm hopeful I'm also doubtful. Griff has it all to prove again and Bayo while can be dangerous has a terrible first touch. Wouldn't fancy him or griff leading the line away currently in a big European or tricky domestic game. So I feel we need to be bringing in 2 strikers over the next two Windows. With one of them a must in January.

So in January we need to secure a centre half and striker. If we can permanently sign foster and super Mo then it would be a brilliant window.

It depends how far ahead they are planning. Do we bring in a keeper now, or hold off and gamble on being able to get Forster in the summer for example?

If we are just talking about getting us through to the end of the season the only position I think is absolutely critical is striker. We have options for pretty much every other position (not always brilliant options, but options). We should have striking options as well but as no one knows what is happening with Griff and Bayo from one week to the next we just don't have any we can rely on being available when required. Realistically though we need 2 strikers, as there is a good chance Eddy will be away at the end of the season.
