Ah well the * it will be all part of the experience.

I've not seen much of him but he does look comfortable on the ball. Mind you being a defender it's all about position and any mistakes are cruelly highlighted by a goal usually so it must be a tough position to learn.

If he does learn to defend he'll be some player with good ball control.

Has a lot of work to do defensively but he's a nice user of the ball. As almost all the young guys coming out our Academy are starting to show.

    Very encouraging.

According to some posters had a shaky nervous first half but made two goal saving blocks in the second. Someone who actually saw the match hopefully can tell you more

Pretty much my view, was a rabbit caught in the headlights in the first half (as was his partner at centre half actually) and he looked far more composed and steady second half.

First half he wasn't that great to be honest, made a few mistakes giving the ball away, not marking properly etc.

Second half was much much better made good interceptions, passing was better, plus great solid blocks.

He wasn't really helped by his defensive partner who was * terrible. Louis Laing i think it was.

JAMIE MCCART admits his loan move to Inverness has been everything he hoped for.

The 19-year-old Celtic player has impressed in the centre of Richie Foran's defence since moving at the end of January, and made his Scotland Under-21 debut in the goalless draw with Estonia in midweek.

Inverness are unbeaten in the five games McCart has played and he is enjoying every minute.

McCart said: "It's been brilliant. It's everything I wanted when I came here.

"I wanted to come, work hard and try to prove myself to try and get into the team.

"The gaffer has put me in the starting 11 since I've come here, and I'm very grateful to him and the coaching staff for continuing to put their faith in me.

"I just try to work hard and keep performing, and keep trying to improve with the platform they've given me."

McCart helped Inverness get off the bottom of the Ladbrokes Premiership before the international break and they are looking to build on that at home to Kilmarnock.

"We've lifted ourselves off the bottom of the table which was a massive boost for us, so we just need to keep going now," he said.

"Obviously every game is the biggest game for us right now, so we can keep climbing up the table."

CELTIC defender Jamie McCart has joined St Mirren on an emergency loan until December 23 this year. The 20-year-old will be part of Jack Ross’s squad, who have started the season well and are up near the top of the Championship table.

Jamie, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Inverness Caley Thistle, said: “I’m excited to be at St Mirren and to get the opportunity for some more first-team football. Hopefully I can come in and prove myself in the team and progress as a player.”

Everyone at Celtic wishes Jamie every success during his loan spell at St Mirren.

It's very good for him, I am surprised we didn't loan him before the window shut

    Isn't good enough..

Starting at Caley in the premiership to dropping down to the championship and in the same season going down to league 1 tells you that..
