    Too much baggage.

    Neil Lennon should never be let back to the club for the same reason. Obviously we've learned from the mistake of hiring someone with too much baggage not once but twice. Signing him was more trouble than it was worth. Who cares about beating Barca or getting to the knockout stage of the CL when we have someone who offends the media and the hun types

    Some people didn't agree with James McClean winning RTÉ Sports Person of the Year on Sunday night but the Ireland star has come out swinging in response to the criticism.

    Sunday Independent journalist Paul Kimmage said he was 'astonished' that McClean won the public vote, and the West Brom midfielder responded on social media tonight in his usual fiery style.

    "So Paul Kimmage (some journalist) is upset about me winning RTE Sportsperson of the Year, as voted by the Irish public I may add. Paul and whoever else is upset about it, as I go shine my award, I apologise sincerely for not giving a toss."

    McClean won the award after a memorable 2017 with Ireland that saw him net the goal against Wales that secured a 1-0 win in Cardiff, lifting Ireland into the World Cup playoffs.
