    Ye i think we do need to aim higher.How ever on the subject of Mclean i think he would improve our current starting eleven.I think he,s a better player than Mcgregor and im not having a go at Mc gregor i just think Mclean is a better player.And i agree i wouldnt want us to be matching his current wage.

    I'd love him at Celtic. Actually don't think the wages would be a major issue either, he's a die hard Celtic fan so he wouldn't take the * in his demands.

    Sinclair is a better player but McClean would be a very handy option to have. I'd see him as being on a par with Forrest (although they are different players) so it would be like having that option to bring on on the left.

    IF we got him and Roberts back and had Sinclair, Roberts, McClean and Forrest to pick from I would be ecstatic, that is serious depth.

    There just seems to never be any substance in them. Of course I'd love to see him here, but I just can't see it happening. I actually think the way in which Lennon was treated up here (being a Catholic from the North) may actually deter him from coming a bit. He gets enough stick down south as it is, it'd be tenfold up here, more so during Poppy season.

    (I did get the reference, by the way).

    I really doubt it would cost 10 mill for mcclean. Hes played abd proved himseld at a higher level than hayes also. I just can't get my head around the hayes signing it makes no sense

    McClean is a far better player than Hayes mate, and I'm not even against the Hayes signing.

    Id have thought McClean would cost no more than 5 million either.

    :56: At anyone thinking McLean would be put off by the opinions of others. The guy that refused to conform just because he's told do, on every occasion.

    If anything, if there ever was the chance to join Celtic, Lennon's treatment will only drive him up here quicker. Such is his character.

    Like others would rather have him than Hayes, if we could get him for 2-3 million it would be a great bit of buisness.
