Really really annoyed me second half..

Could've laid about 3 goals on but chose not to..

Was trying to beat too many men and go solo..

He doesn't usually wind me up like that but did second half. Was excellent in the first as well..

Deserved to be hooked about the hour mark for it..

Yeah I was gonna post this is a minor gripe but was enjoying the win.

He was holding onto the ball for too long too many times.

Definitely gets a bye though considering how he has played this season

Can only remember him laying it off to his mate Rogic in the second half, and that was only because he ran himself into trouble. Bit better today but needs to up his game again.

Obviously great, but I'd give him midweek off against St Mirren. Give Shved a run out

Fantastic player having a wee dip in form at the moment. Incidentally his goal against Aberdeen was by far the best of the four due to the build up involved in it, brilliant team goal.

Celtic winger James Forrest has revealed his new contract is imminent.

This comes 13 months after he was given a four-year-long contract by Brendan Rodgers.

The Scotland international’s current deal expires in 2022 but he is in advanced talks to further extend his stay at Parkhead.

He said: "It’s near enough done, everything is basically agreed.

“I’ll be delighted to get that done really soon and just keep focusing on playing.”

A contract extension would mean that Forrest would be on the way to becoming the first one-club man to spend his whole career at Parkhead since 1997 when Paul McStay retired.

With 17 major honours, Forrest has made it to the top ten most decorated players in Celtic history.

Forrest continued: “I’ve always stated from the start of pre-season that I want to stay at Celtic and the club have done the same thing.

“The talks have been really positive and it’s maybe near the end.”

The 28-year-old has netted 83 goals in nearly 400 appearances for Celtic since Neil Lennon handed him his debut in 2010.

JF: After the Lazio game, we all wanted to make sure the league was priority. We got back on it with another good performance and we got the result in the end as well.”

JF: “It makes Thursday night better when a couple of days later you can go to Aberdeen and win.”

JF: “The league’s competitive, we know that, but we just need to stick to our own game and worry about ourselves. We are playing really well now and we need to keep that form up.”

JF: “You raise your standards and your game as well when you know you can’t afford to slip up. You know other teams around you will punish you. It makes us go into every game knowing we need to get the three points.”

JF: “We’ve scored a lot of goals, it comes from our hard work and we need to keep going to produce those types of performances.”

JF: “The three right-backs have done really well every game they’ve played, so it’s a pleasure playing with them all.

Good news on the contract, aye he was a bit off especially in the 2nd half, too greedy and at times didn't know what to do a fell over the ball.

As said he's earned a wee lean period.

It only really becomes an issue in games like yesterday where we are absolutely cruising, however there was at least 2 occasions yesterday where he could have laid a chance on a plate but chose to try and go alone. It's a minor gripe and isn't quite so bad when the game is more than safe but hopefully he cuts it out.

Great to hear there's a new contract in the offing.
EDIT: I wish he'd stop saying "Yeah, naw..." when he's asked a question...
