    I don't really remember the original. I certainly don't recall being scared. I'll need to revisit it just to check, but this certainly hits all marks and comes out strong. Certainly worth the price of admission.

    Was brilliant. Loved it. Few jumpy moments lots of funny moments. Well acted with likelable characters. Would recommend

    I assume you hadn't seen the original? It wasn't ever that scary. That's not the focus of the movie. What made it pish? Thought it was brilliant

    I have seen the original thank you. It's just not good. I think they got pennywise wrong now having watching it now , turning it into a monster type thing. He's a good actor aswell they could have done something very good making him more normal.
    You can say It's not the focus of the movie but it is a horror movie above all. Only scary scenes is with the girl and her dad imo.

    Well he was a monster in the original one too. I vividly remember the spider in the original.
    It was a mysterious evil being from an unknown realm/dimension outside the regions of space(the macro verse in the novel) When It came to planet Earth to feed, It's favorite disguise was the clown named "Pennywise". It could also morph into any other being or thing it pleased, generally based on its target's loved ones or friends to lure them into traps or simply appear to them as their very worst fears and nightmares.

    Thought it was great, plenty of scares, very well written, and some hilarious moments, the wee guy ritchie was class, i thought the girl who played beverley was about 4 years older than the rest of them but turns out shes only 15 too couldnt believe it lol
