played against him when he was playing for sighthill in the sidekix league on a friday night this was last year ... he was brilliant , pace and dribbling ability are advanced for his age... if am right it was him that scored a penalty against me :-? sighthill went on to win this league with us in 2nd royston B

Hes not that big, all the other players next to him from Ajax and that other team are bigger than him and hes 14. He's actually one of the smaller players in the squad. Physically he's a lot stronger but thats because he's the best in the team and getting ready to play by the time he's 16/17. The best are really always like that as he's been with Celtic for about 5 years and being trained to be a top player similar as to why Fleck from Rangers was built like a 20 year old at 16 and Rooney aswell the best ones always put in that much more work because they know they are going to make the first team.

Rooney was built like a tank and you're right Batch thats what you need to make it nowadays, look at James Milner, he was a wee stick insect at Leeds and is a lot bigger now and is finally getting better after stagnating at Newcastle.

Izzy will be the best player in the SPL should he be playing at 16/17 but it'll be hard keeping Man Utd/Barca away he is immense

 

I was talking to the guy next to me at parkhead about feruz on sunday there, his nephew plays for the 15's (paul george) and the young lad was telling him feruz is absaloutley top drawer - even in under 17's he tears the place apart.

Also while we were on the subject he mentioned two other guys from the youth setup. Liam Madden and Kevin Nesbit...suposidly only downside with Madden is his injuries but young Nesbit scores every week for his side.

 

Added to the fact that he is determined to play for United eventually, I can't see us having our hands on him for long once he makes it into the first team.
