Who would you move on in the summer?

 

Is anyone out of contract in the summer?

 

I wouldn't be fussed if Allan, Benyu, Hayes, Gamboa, Ciftci and Bitton all moved on in the summer.

 

With the exception of the likes of Ciftci and Allan as well as the academy kids, the squad is littered with good quality.

It's not like Deila's tenure when we had midfielders up the wazoo and utter dross like Carlton Cole and Colin Kazim-Richards.

 

Strong chance that Gamboa, Boyata, Sviatchenko, Allan, Dembele, and Ciftci all leave in the next window.

Add in the maybe's - Simunovic, one of the keepers (not including Hazard in loan).

So thats 6 out, maybe 1 or 2 after that. This is all hypothetical, but I'd say it's decently accurate. That would bring us down to 28-30 players, with a few of those being U-19 fringe guys looking for opportunities. I think we're fine, but we could still use a few more quality players in.

Transfers out : Simunovic, Sviatchenko, Gamboa, Bitton, Allan, Hayes, Ciftci, Armstrong (although I hope he stays)

Loans out : Hazard, Miller, Benyu, Johnston, Aitchison

number of players in the first team : 25

 

Think armstrong n biton wil be off in summer.Do we cash in on armstrong or keep for final year.Ciftci,allan,christie,gamboa,sviatchenko all will moved.De vries dependin on how well he does in the comin months.

 

Naw because come summer at least 10 of them will be off

How can people say get rid of Benyu, kids * 20 years old who's impressed and people want to get rid of it him

 

Crazy . He wasn't brought in as a first team player. He got promoted to the first team after playing well.

 

Plays same position as Kouassi who is younger I think, hard for him to break through over Ntchcam Kouassi Brown, Calmac and Armstrong

I would possibly loan him out again instead of sell

 

Init, was planned to be loaned out straight away but impressed that much we played him in some games yet let's get rid of him permanently hahahah

 

LOoks like he can play anywhere across the front midfield 3, while I agree we are bloated in those areas at his age there's no reason why he couldn't break in eventually. I agree another loan spell would be beneficial for him

 

Players I'd definitely move on are, Gamboa, Sviatchenko, Allan, Ciftci and unfortunately, Dembele.

Despite Gamboa being a Rodgers signing, it feels like he's went AWOL. No point in keeping him if he isn't going to feature.

Sviatchenko is a decent defender, but slow, hence why Rodgers isn't a fan.

Allan isn't good enough and neither is Ciftci.

Dembele might go as this will be the end of the two year cycle that was hinted at, when he first arrived. This could put us in the situation of Dembele, Edouard and Ciftci leaving. Which means we need a new striker if that happens.

 

I'd be tempted to sign Edouard. I think he's got all the attributes to be a good investment.

 

I'd be happy to sign him. Hopefully he'd want to stay.

 

No he doesn’t. Rodgers has already said Eboue is intended as Brown’s replacement when the time comes i.e. he’s a defensive midfielder.

Benyu played as a left winger/attacking midfielder when he featured at the start of the season.
