Agreed, it's probably one of the most dehumanizing quotes I've ever witnessed..... it sounds like a robot obeying it's master who created it ffs.

you've not changed your patter since coming back from your ban :smiley-laughing002:

teaches them discipline and what they have to do as a soldier. I'm not particularly endorsing it, just find it a very interesting 'creed'

''I raise my rod in Egypt and I split the Red Sea
By that, I mean I had * with a girl on her period--that's right
I don't mind ketchup on my hotdog as long as the bun is tight''
    So inspiring.

William Wallace: Sons of Scotland! I am William Wallace.
Young Soldier: William Wallace is seven feet tall!
William Wallace: Yes, I've heard. Kills men by the hundreds. And if HE were here, he'd consume the English with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his *.
    [Scottish army laughs]
William Wallace: I *am* William Wallace! And I see a whole army of my countrymen, here in defiance of tyranny. You've come to fight as free men... and free men you are. What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight?
Veteran: Fight? Against that? No! We will run. And we will live.
William Wallace: Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!
    [Scottish army cheers]
William Wallace: Alba gu bràth!["Scotland forever!"]
Army: ALBA GU BRÀTH! ALBA GU BRÀTH! ALBA GU BRÀTH!

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhFvZRT7Ds0"]Mario Savio on the operation of the machine - YouTube[/ame]
    1:23 in

"There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part! And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it — that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!

The words are so powerful the machine can be anything you see that is taking away your freedom like the government and their military war machines. The current situation with the world becoming more and more like big brother state these words have never been so relevant and will be more relevant as the world continues on it race to extinction. They should of been used at the start of V for Vendetta or the Matrix or Fight Club.
