    His voice was caviar for the ears.

    Right up there with David Attenborough in terms of having that unique ability to draw you in just by the sound of his voice.

    Seen and done it all and will still tell you the greatest manager of all time was Stein.

    R.I.P. Hugh will be greatly missed . When you think of the appalling standard of sports/football journalism today . I recall him doing a documentary about Stein , Shankly and Busby . It was pure class , TV gold in fact .

    Came in here to post this. An utter joy of a series and I would highly recommend to all my fellow bhoys & ghirls on the forum. Episode 2 & 3 are a must listen for football fans but the whole series is more than worthy of your time.
