Aye I think Lenny and the board have had a decent amount of time now, we've not demanded much but when it starts feeling like nothing at all is happening it is not great and if Lustig and the others RBs go without recruiting it's not an ideal way to start the qualifiers.

Slowly as usual, the first CL qualifier is in 3 weeks I don't expect any first team new faces for that game.

Going by the timeline and what has happened with the club, Neil has clearly been told months ago the job was his should he get the treble. Hence "offering" it after that game in the shower room. Also hence shelving/filing away any applications, just be wary that those who applied may not apply again in a year or two.

That said, the scouting meetings, what Neil has told us in press interviews etc, he has been involved in the recruitment for awhile now, more than Turnbull has to have been identified and ideally you'd want to be getting some players in ASAP for qualifier and incase any have a decent international break, what with U20 world cups, Copa America (okay unlikely) and any nation league games (again unlikely, but you never know).

Time to get the key positions in. RB, CB both been known for years now, can't be pulling "ran out of time" on those positions. Nor LB back up, Izzy tossed that deal away a fortnight ago.

@DamianWayneCSC Aye I thought Lenny already had at least a striker in mind, not panicking yet though as I like to think a lot of things are going on without the media having to know. What is the deal with Izzy? I never know if he's leaving or not these years Dunno why we'd let players go before recruiting replacements.

Any idea who is going to be Lenny's staff? Doubt big Mljalby is coming back? Would be cool though. Seen Henrik's name mentioned, that would be great, just having him about and training our strikers, that's such a feel good vibe. Dunno how much truth is in that rumour.

Anyone know what's happening with Benkovic, we getting another year?

Get your frustrations but it is the first day or pre-season tomorrow would a new face or two have been nice yeah but it will take time.

Most players haven’t even slapped on the 2nd week of factor 50 so people thinking we would have had 6-8 new players where deluded.

If we get to a month today and we still don’t have 5 or 6 new players then it is a concern.
