Can any1 tell me why they think Gudjohnnsen is better than Bellemy....
i mean Gudjohnnsen was a super sub at chelsea (remember flo) and he hasnt made it at Barcelona. any1 who has watched Liverpool knows Bellers has been superb this season its just my opinion but bellamy would be cheeper he would score more goals and we all know he would settle up here...
Gudjohnnsen on the other hand is wanted by Man United getting bellers is about 50%/50% and Gudjohnnsen is about 20%/80%
ps this is just my opinion...!!

Bellamy hasnt made it at liverpool either. Why does everyone live in the past with Bellamy?

Well the guy oozes class, he is a very intelligent footballer that would * all over the SPL defenders. I wouldnt say he hasnt made it at barca as when he has played particularly when Eto was injured, he has performed.

Bellamy has amazing pace but doesnt score many goals where as Gudjohnsen is a more all round complete footballer. Which i would rather have because players like him not only score goals they create them as well (My Opinion)

I think adam talks sense here Gudjohnsen is strong a great character and he has a brain for football. On the otherhand bellamy is a talent that doesnt come very often his hotheadedness proves to be a great characteristic of his and i believe he would lead Celtic to a further place in the CL.. GET HIM SIGNED.(My OPINION)

i agree he would * all over big weir and the rest of the spl diddy's but so would bellers.
the fact is Bellamy is a more realistic (i don't think ether of them will come) i would prefer Bellamy because he is more direct has bags of pace and is a very intense player with a bit of character and him and big Jan (who will score 30 a season) up front..!! watch out rangers

As much as I think Gudjohnsen is a good player, I would MUCH prefer Bellamy as we already have a player who scores loads and sets ups loads.JVOH + BELLAMY = SPL TITLE. :)

If Gudjohnsen, Bellamy, Appiah or any of those Italian boys sign I will be over the moon. We are competig for the signatures of quality players and if any of them arrive it will be welcomed by me. No point saying we dont need them or how do we fit them in. When they are here then we can work with them and see what we can do. Options and cover are great things to have and have been used as excuses at times.

Really cannot see it, i hope this is another Torres/Ricquelme rumour (except they would be worth it).
He's totally overrated & has never held down a place at any club he's been at.
Don't get me wrong, he's good enough to enhance our team - but not at this price or wages he'd likely demand & be used to.

I think he would be a brilliant signing, and the type of player we need if we are to do well in Europe. His goals per game ratio must be impressive, because every time I've watched him he seems to get on the score sheet.

He is a player of real quality. He truly has a football brain. I'd be amazed if we got him.

Gudjohnsen talks up Man United link

Former Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen has admitted he would be interested in a move to Manchester United.

The Iceland international has been linked with a move away from current club Barcelona back to England with the Premier League champions.

The 29-year-old has had a difficult first season at the Nou Camp since leaving Stamford Bridge in an £8million deal last summer.

Gudjohnsen, quoted in the Daily Mail, said: 'I joined Barcelona to be part of the club's triumphs but it is not easy for me when you look at the club's forward line and see all the big names there.

'Each minute has been a special test for me but to sit on the bench is not the most desirable experience for a player.

'If I leave then my idea would be to return to British football. A perfect choice for me will be a club that plays in the Champions League.

'Obviously Manchester United fit that category.'

I think he would be wonderful and has got great posiotional sense so would be able to get loads of goals agaisnt the pishy SPl defences. He did good at Chelsea but Drogba was ahead of him there and when he went to Barca Eto was ahead of him so it has been ahrd for him to land down a palce

He would be a great goal scorer for us and would bag a hateful of goals in the SPL, but I have to agree 8 Million and the huge weekly wage? Great to have but I would prefer to see the Italian Duo in for 5/6 Million, Delvechio would be class. Great times for all Bhoys.
