That tackle on Sinclair would get guys sent off in other leagues, a red card doesn't need to involve a deliberate act to hurt someone.

Grabbing a guy round the neck and then throwing him to ground should be a red it's ridiculous he stayed on the pitch, there is zero attempt to play the ball.

    .

One of the stupidest, clumsiest assaults Ive seen in long time. Nice to see he got a smack in the gob about ten minutes later ( and not a foul either)

I think the thing is, in todays football when you have managers like Rodgers who love to set up attacking football with how footballers are now it's easy to disrupt with school boy tackling and booting * off the pitch.

It disrupts our play because the consent stopping for * free kicks and ruins our flow which we saw last night with some of the tackles on Sinclair and the one on McGregor when he was practically one on one with a defender.

Perhaps some of our players could do with getting a thicker skin but alot has to come from the refs, but this is Scotland and it will never change.

I really like O'Dea, he's not a dirty player, a very solid and old fashioned centre half. But the foul on Sinclair was incredible, it was an assault. If that happened in Spain etc he would have been sent off

Correct, its beyond laughable that people like Madden, Beaton, McClean, Dallas minor can ref our games with their known "affection" for the Scum. These xxxxs will also decide the next generation of top officials

He is the reason Rogic has been out for months.

    I can't stand the *.

Apart from the two goals, the happiest moment of yesterday was seeing him lying in agony on the pitch after trying to go through Moussa.

Agreed, he also took a kick to the head, an elbow to the face and a belter of a knock in a 50/50 without complaint.

He's always been like that. I don't mind hard players, long as they can take it back. That's Darren O'Dea for me. Fair *, footballs a contact sport.

    I like O'Dea, always have.

Annoys me seeing tims getting * off when an ex-tim shows a bit of passion against us. Seems to happen with just about every ex player in the league.

As if they should just roll over without a whimper.

Was the Rogic incident that kickstarted the dislike towards O'Dea, don't particularly remember it, but don't recall it being 'dirty'. Yesterday's cynical challenge wasn't either, there was no intent to hurt Sinclair.

Agree with this. Folk pay to watch football and you get * like this happening yesterday.

O'Dea played 90mins yesterday, which is frankly embarrassing given his assault on Sinclair. I don't care if he played with us, that yesterday was shocking. Yes,its all well and good because we won, 3 points away from the league and so on. We could easily be missing Sinclair to injury as a result of O'Dea's actions. Fortunately not.

No surprise the media see the "funny side" of it. Been saying for months on end about the "tackles" and "advantage rule", the inconsistency of officiating is a joke. By all means teams can play 6 at the back or every player behind the ball. Its not great as a spectacle and its questionable tactics in my opinion. However when it comes some of the tackles we've seen in recent weeks and the officials facilitating the repeat offenders. Then that's where I have a problem.

It was a wee bit more WWE than rugby.

Still don't have a problem with teams being tough and physical against us. Dundee were organised, aggressive and maybe even a wee bit cynical, but I thought Collum handled it well.
