I don't think collum is a hun in the same regard as beaton, madden etc, but by * is he * garbage at every game he officiates. Clown denied us two stonewall penalties and a clear red on goss, wish brendan would speak out on these decisions.

3 penalties denied. All 3 goalscoring opportunities denied..

Goss repeatedly fouling all game. That tactic that refs have used all season by allowing us to be kicked in turns and then bring out the yellow in the last 10 minute's. Davidson as well..

Despite all that and their numerous kicking the ball away whenever we had a freekick or Tanser handballing twice in 2 different incidents......

We ended up with 2 card's a piece and worse off with 1 of the card's for celebrating and a red..

How more obvious can it be?

Totally agree about the non hun sentiment. He is a truly woeful ref. Should have had two pens for me, for the Burke and Edouard incidents.
    ALL DAY LONG.
It is now getting to be a pattern where teams get away with bad fouls against us yet refs only produce yellows late in the game.
There are exceptions but very few.
To add a bit of balance, he blew for a lot of fouls by izzy(some very dodgy) so he should have yellow carded him for persisting fouling and he should have yellowed Jozo for a late challenge late on in the 2nd.

See everytime they were breaking as well and it was slightly late or they could've been given a foul. Collum showed he can be a good official when he wants by playing the advantage for them every single time..

Blowing up for us whenever we took free kicks telling us to move it back or the ball wasn't still. Even blatantly hand signaling us playing the ball second half and then when Forrest? Was well away down the right bearing down on the box he blew up seconds later for a freekick. Joker..

That his first game since the sheep where again he gave 2 penalties against us and the second a ridiculous dive near the end and failing to send McGinn off first half for a shocker of a tackle high..

Just had to come off the phone to my brother ranting about the official's again as it was riling me up..

If any dimwit was unsure prior to this weekend, then they can't be now. Spare us this self-serving * about 'refs being pure bad for everyone man'.

    We are being cheated.

We were denied three stonewall penalties today:

    1. Burke cut down as he's one-on-one, therefore is also a red card.
    2. Christie being taken out (remember this is the ref who gave a penalty to the Sheep for an Izzaguirre tackle after the ball had been crossed)
    3. Eduoard, which was also a red card since he was in front of goal, and even if he hadn't been, it was dangerous play.

Apart from being disgusted at their denial I am equally * off with Rodgers' fairly nonchalant attitude towards this cheating. This is reaching 90s' level proportions.

What's Rodgers going to say though? If he even mentions the refs that just gives the SFA ammo . Lennon got a touchline ban for speaking up about the refs.

That we should've had 3 blatant penalties for a start. 1 of them resulted in our striker just back from injury...having to be stretchered off with probably a broken foot..

I firmly believe br has us tuned for the eventuality, that we will come off second best in refereeing deccissions during games and we are accepting that this is something we have no control over .
Watching our team now you will see not many complaints from players about deccissions from refs , when there is absolute rage all around them from the fans they are being taught to stay focused ,stay on the pitch and stay in the game .
I read recently that our team are taught to adapt to 10 man situations seamlessly, and when you account for the overly aggressive approach from our opponents you wonder why we are not adopting the same approach right back ,we are being more controlled knowing that refs are waiting on us fighting back so they can bring out red.
It's as though we have prior knowledge to their plan and we are not rising to the bait , how can we complain if we lose games from players being sent off through retaliation , It might seem obvious to not react, but the way teams are being allowed to assault our players without even a caution or card at times ,it's very un natural not to , it tells me its being demanded that we stay on the park .

Juventus and AC Milan were caught match fixing and were penalised for it difference here is the Huns don't need to bribe the refs the refs do it for the (cause)and are aided and abetted by the SFA

Not even a foul on Edouard, the defender gets to the ball first and Edouard kicks the underside of his boot. "Assault"?? behave

Spot on, not as bad as it used to be when you kicked someone’s metal studs what with all the moulded stud boots they wear these days. Still pretty painful mind.

Did Forrest not get booked after his goal for celebrating with the fans, Weah done the exact same thing and escaped a yellow.
    Inconsistency at it finest.

Sure he got told he never got booked as the fans never leaned over?? Think it's more so the game was technically over , as you can cause a pitch invasion and not get booked depending on the colour of ur jersey

That rule is kind of at the referee’s discretion. Collum has followed the book in his mind, but I would say they were the same really. Common sense for once though, unheard of.

    • Leaving the field of play to celebrate a goal is not a cautionable offence but players should return as soon as possible.
    • A player must be cautioned for:
      • Climbing onto a perimeter fence and/or approaching the spectators in a manner which causes safety and/or security issues.

Our officials are very poor at their jobs

not sure full time refs would be an improvement as i think they are already well paid and we should look at investing all these salaries and expenses in VAR technology. Big screen with replays cannot cost that much (not when compared to the wages we pay our officials)

Refs should have to declare all memberships of all types of clubs and organizations,, especially secret ones

The top league & later rounds of cup matches need to have VAR or some form of tech to help officials. Players can help by cutting out the play acting and hammer those that continue to cheat.

I think all clubs are concerned by the terrible decisions this season and more so by the intransigence of the officials to address the issue. The cheapest and quickest way to make immediate improvement is to have all officials wear microphones and provide audio that fans can hear.. and the timekeeping should be independent of the ref.. big clock in stadium that stops when the play is stopped and restarts when the game does

It may not be an easy job but the refs are definitely making it difficult for themselves and the silence and non accountability by them during & after games has to be addressed.

Refs in rugby don't have anywhere near the controversy football has and they have far harder type of game to ref with scrums, tackles and more players to try to watch. Football can definitely learn from Rugby in terms of refereeing
