    I listened to J.Coles album and liked it, cant remember the last time or last album of his I listened to must have been about 2/3 year ago but I felt this was a wee bit different and more serious and more like Kendrick Lamar.

    Can listen to Soul 2 Soul all morning, quality tunes. That was back when alot of UK artist were blatantly copying the americans even copying the accent, if im not mistaken. That get a life song ive always wanted to post but dont know why i havent. Timeless tunes

    Yeah I wasn't much into the tunes tbh, he had a lot more stuff I could relate with in the past. Its funny about Doom, when I first heard him I never really liked him but I soon started to realise his genius when I understood his lyrics and rhyme patterns.

    Born Sinner is a good album, few cheesy numbers on it but a solid 8/10 album.
    2014 Forest Hills Drive is a classic imo, still on my fone and listen to it most days. 4 Your Eyez Only was shocking, 1 good song on it. Hopefully this new album is back to his best, for mainstream rappers only Kendrick is better than Cole for me.

    That's why I'm always posting old *, there's something lost nowadays, hiphop still around but you gotta find it and its scarce.
    Nothing beats the old school rappers the ones who influenced everyone today, I don't cringe when I see rappers in their 40s still doing it tbh they're making music which is what everyone wants to be doing, as long as they're not trying to hard to be in with the times
    Rappers from wu tang will always be relevant because of the different styles they all bring to the table unlike most of todays rappers who will be long forgotten in years to come because they are unoriginal.

    Aye there’s a certain originality to old skool stuff, it didn’t matter if the beat was amazing, as long as the lyrics flowed well on top of it, true art. Now a days as long as you’ve got a beat with a heavy bass a few weird wee futuristic “trap” sounds it doesn’t matter if the * rapping over it talks a lot of *, which isn’t what rap is about, annoys me but it’s just the way it is.
