Really need another midfield runner as McGregor isn't getting in behind like we know he can and only have Christie who is out for however long.

 

Looking at that goal again, McGregor and Jozo don’t cover themselves in glory at all.

.....another inconsistent player who could be magical but usually wasn't.....he's not the answer up front in my opinion and not a 9 million striker if that's what BR was buying into.

 

Ok this is not working ,they are working much harder than us ,we seem slow to react ,not seen the goal yet but guess it's a * up ,edouard is not anticipating the crosses into the box and following it in ,we will lose this if we don't change it , forest is the only creator as yet , dont know the subs but worried ,real hangover here and its not me im talking about but maybe if we don't up our game it will be .

 

Morgan. He's generally accepted to be one of our higher earners which makes sense having come from the EPL. Do you believe he has been good enough this season to merit a regular position on the team? I have been hoping he might rediscover some of his first season form for too long now and after Thursday night don't care if I never see him in a Celtic jersey again. Being below par or not quite good enough is somewhat acceptable. To not even try is a bridge too far for me.

Further up the pitch. It’s the danger of having a LWB mate. Your LCB and midfield is supposed to fill the gaps.

 

Eddy looking isolated up top, couple good balls getting whipped in for him by Forrest and Sinclair which he should be attacking, big park so a lot of options down the channels, an in-form Rogic or Christie linking with Edouard is missing.

 

Look on the bright side, can only get better second half.

Brown and Ntcham are too similar. We lack pace without Christie.
That's what we lack and only really Morgan can play that way. It's a wonder why Scott Allan never got a look in, he at least plays centre mid.
Then up top nothing. Edouard never makes a run for the ball when a cross comes in. Does he think he's a better chance of scoring if the defender is in front of him and the ball. He's simply not that bright. Hopefully he gets fired up for the second half, but it's a tough watch so far.

 

I’d put Ralston on for Jozo.

Both Ajer and Benkovic can then carry the ball forward, break their man marking in midfield.

 

Wouldnt be too bad, i'd leave Sinclair on he should be destroying Whittaker who has no pace and always backs off a guy running at him. An utter disgrace that we have Izaguirre trying to defend and playing on the left himself.

 

Biggest talking point for me is BR's formation - pretty * bizarre!

 

Why is Jozo even at L/CB mate? He’s right sided.

 

He does, and I'm not degrading his scoring record by any means, but he's not a CF, he's not a central striker. He's more of an outside left than anything.

I said it the other day, but he would come on absolute wonders if there were a more physical player up front doing all the dirty work for both he and Forrest.

 

Forrest has been abysmal.

 

We have been unlucky with injuries this season but it really highlights the lack of quality in depth of our squad

the squad is bloated with too many who just are not good enough
