Yup. And for every addict getting clean it raises the chances of them going on to help others get clean.
Oh and Christmas, dove past two houses on had the decorations up and other was starting. Adverts everywhere for Christmas doo’s, Christmas movie channel on and the worst one was hearing a Christmas song on the radio a few weeks ago fs.

I must admit i do much prefer a colder Christmas,a good old heavy Frost or snow,as long as it does not .uck people travelling, there is a lovely atmosphere in those conditions.Even a bright sharp day is good. When it is mild and wet or wet and windy, kind of puts a dampener on things.
Back in the day as a kid i loved this time of year as my parents always got me surprizes, never got loads of stuff but enough for me and my 2 sisters to be very happy:lol:

I'm the same, like cold but dry winter days, Christmas with little snow or a covering of frost is lovely.

Ah, I grew up in a household just the same, we didn't get spoiled, got a few gifts each and plenty of food in our bellies.....mind you, by the time dinner came....Dad was well pickled in whisky, but it was a nice family day.

The smell of cigar smoke always brings me back to Christmas when I was a wean,it was the only time in the year my old man would smoke one.

Same here, never got spoiled but was never without either. Seen my ma and da struggle at xmass time few times but somehow always got through it. Xmass day was always a good day. Have nice family memories over xmass. I remember my da always wanting a white xmass. We hadn't one in years in the north then one xmass day we see my da come in the living room jumping about like a * but job. Like Celtic won the European cup. Asked the madman * was he at and he says its a white crimbo. Fs it was abit of sleet, but it cheered the aup * up haha

I am so going to love Christmas if we beat Salzburg at Celtic park on 13th December and in doing so, guarantee European football into the new year
