By the time the tougher teams come, we'll be fitter, sharper, new signings. We will be fine. Why would we be impressive, away from home on a palstic pitch? 4-1 is a rather good thumping. Against harder teams it'll be 2-1 ;) bet you all are eating your words wishing for celtic to play hahahahaha YES!!! GET IT RIGHT UP YEEEE!!

HJK were dominated for the vast majority of the game other than a 15 minute spell after the re-start.

You can think we weren't very impressive all you like we got the job done. A job we were incapable of doing according to alot of Scandinavian media outlets and supporters.

First of all, unlucky on the tie overall, I thought you's gave a better account than of yourselves than I predicted.

I actually kind of agree, the 4-1 aggregate score was good, but I don't think we ever fully stepped up to what we were capable of, no disrespect to HJK though since as your manager said, the differences in budget and revenue etc is much higher in favour of us. I just think that the 'tougher opponent' you mentioned will also be facing a tougher Celtic than you witnessed as we'll be further on in our season. We'll be fitter and more up to speed.

Though, again, unlucky mate and good luck for the rest of the Finnish league :50::shamrock:

Even more pleasing that we never got out of 3rd gear, our strikes were well off-form, and they were our first matches in the season, yet we still won very easily 4-1 :50:

Imagine what we'll do when we're fit and on form! :icon_mrgreen:

    Just think.
Your son will be one of the first of the new borns to see Celtic without a certain team in the same division. He will ask you "Daddy, why are a team called Sevco playing in Scotland. "
What will you do or say. :icon_mrgreen:

    Papac has retired from football.
    The Bosnian manager said
"His plan was to finish his career at scum but that can't happen now" *. :tongue1:
Retiring means the end of his career and since he didn't have another club it means the tax cheats were his last club.
Too much of RM influence there, methinks. What a * muppet.

Thought that was a real proper away Euro game. Very controlled. Havent seen us look so savy and tactical in a Euro game in years. A real classic away performance, not overcomiting etc. CL is not about storming forward all the time like we do in the SPL. Very pleased with it.

I watched the game in a bar in Donegal. At the final whistle some guy in a broad Glasgow accent said "I think we'll win this * champions league". Priceless, brought the house down :icon_mrgreen:

Don't understand how they decide these prices. It will be £28 against St.Mirren & Ross County and £20 for a CL Playoff? Surely should be the other way about.

I'd be happy to get a shot on target in that group.

We could get Barca, City, Dortmund. Which is scary, but that's what you want in the CL. No point in going in and playing average teams, want to play the best teams possible.

Ideally, I would like to have one amazing team (Barca, City or Dortmund for example) in our group, and then two other smaller teams, which gives us a better chance of qualifying for the last 16.

Nobody realistically expects us to beat Barca, even at Celtic Park, so we'd have to play very well against the other two clubs in the group.
