Have you tried those car seat add ons with lumbar support etc. Id be inclined to try a few models and go out for a drive see if any help. Only thing with hgvs do they not have to unload stuff and load up depending on the job?

My back suffers, obviously not as bad as yours. I cant sit in my friends new merc he got as a company car. After 20 mins the lower back aches. Yet my old honda i could sit 24 hours and be fine.

Sympathies about your back though, people who haven't experienced one truly dont understand.

iv bought some sort of memory foam cushion i think it is the type you are on about,i really want to do this but yes id say some jobs could be a graft i.e loading and unloading but I won't know if the cushion works till I sit in the truck and by that time my money is spent, Actually getting depressed about this * it holds me back (pardon the pun) in everything I want to do.

Go for the wealth. We're only here for a short time. So shovel up all that great sponduliks while you can. Who needs health. The Chinese believe we bring our wealth into the next life. And there's loads of them, so must be true.:43:

    Wealth is health :86:

Seriously though is there not studies that show, broadly speaking, that the better standard of living an individual has the healthier in general they are ?

I think the Windsors are a perfect example of that.

Yes most extremely wealthy families benefit that way. I was meaning wealth on a slightly less grand scale though mate.

Mate. Do what makes you happy. Do a list of pro's and cons. You will already know deep down what you want. Do the lottery on fri/sat and you may not have to do anything.

My mum has more money now than she ever had, but she’s practically house bound due to her stroke she can’t get to the bingo or the shops anymore(very seldom depending on how she is), I feel she has a poor quality of life and doesn’t get the chance to enjoy the money she gets now, so for me health is definitely wealth :50:

Why don’t ye stick the current job and do a night class in college if you have the spare time? I just applied to do my Construction Management HNC in the evenings after work, Planning to move move away from actually grafting on the sites and get a cushy site agent job or supervisor position somewhere. I’m 26 and my backs goosed awready.
