Despise the International break, but in reality it's a welcome break. Time to take stock, after a hectic August and end to the transfer window.

Anyway time for a game thread.

This match will get some game time into some legs hopefully too, likes of Elyonoussi and hopefully Shved and Rogic..

Would be tempted to give Kouassi some game time. Get the game won and rest McGregor for the Thursday..

    Forster
    Bauer Elhamed Jullien Bolingoli
    Christie Brown
    Morgan Ntcham Elyonoussi
    Bayo

I'd imagine Brown will definitely get some game time due to his lack of international football.

Can't drop Boli surely? He's undefeated in a celtic shirt. Hamilton away on the telly will be a tough match. We should be playing our strongest side.

We've got a 3 point lead in the league, let's keep the foot on the gas, give our selves some room and then start resting players nearer october

Aye, you are probably right, mate. Kouassi really needs game time soon though.

He's played a lot of football, it's not really a case of dropping him, it's just about giving Taylor some game time and he's used to the artificial surface too..

    Would play Boli v Rennes..

I’d stick with pretty much the same lineup as Sunday.

Only changes would be Bauer at RB with Elhamed in at CB due to Ajer and Bitton being injured and Jozo not being comfortable on plastic surfaces.

We can experiment in home games..

    Forster
    Bauer Elhamed Jullien Bolingoli
    Brown McGregor
    Forrest Christie Johnston
    Edouard

Will Ajer definitely miss this game?

Don't think we've had an update, not sure if he joined the Norway sqaud..

Edit:aye pulled our the squad so @Keano88 maybe correct with his back line.

    Not sure about Bitton.

This is the sort of game where Boli will shine imo, a team that will play ultra defensive, i'd go

    Forster
    Bauer Biton Jullien Bolingoli
    Brown Ntcham
    Christie
    Shved Edouard Elyounoussi

Give Forrest and Mcgregor a break from their international duty, i'd rest Christie too but i don't know who we could play instead, i'd be tempted to give O'Connor 20 minutes here near the end if we're winning comfortably, will Rogic be back for this? and better yet, will bitton be fit?

International break has came at the perfect time for us, let the team rest after a hectic schedule, if this was next week i'd of went 2-0, but with the break i think we'll win 4-0.

I would be happy for Bolingoli to start, but I want to see what Taylor can do.

Doubt Elyounoussi will be fit enough to start but hopefully get some game time.

    Jullien
    Boli

    Broony

    A few away for internationals....
Jozo can't play on plastic. Ajer out. Elhamed hairline fracture. Bitton hamstring. O'Connor straight in..

Edouard, Forrest, McGregor, Mikey etc keep fresh for Rennes away..

    Still a really strong side..

We may organise a bounce game for the likes of Elyounoussi, Kouassi etc..

    So many options now...

Taking into account the international games and the fact we have a hard trip away to Rennes following this game I’d go with...

    Forster

    Bauer
    Ajer
    Jullien
    Bolingoli

    Brown
    Ntcham
    Christie

    Shved
    Bayo
    Elyounoussi
