I'm the exact opposite as I've never been so confident of us getting a result away from home in Europe.Dont forget we've got Brendan in charge now and he ain't frightened to mix it up if it ain't going our way.:50:

We looked like we were trying to sit in and slow the tempo of the game down in the second half last week and we conceded twice in 5 minutes.

You can still be playing to win by playing on the counter attack. Each game suits a certain style of play, and tonight, I feel that playing on the counter attack would suit us down to the ground. We have lost goals because we have been committing men forward in recent games, not because we have sat in looking to hold on to what we have. We weren't sitting in last week when we let them back into the game, we were pressing forward looking for a fourth goal and got caught.

No we weren't. The whole game changed at the begining of that second half. Suddenly we were backing off them, giving them space and time, sitting in and we got punished, twice.

The first goal we lost come from us committing men forward. Look where Toure was for example. McGregor had a minute earlier made a bursting run and had a decent effort on goal as well. Then Forrest had a shot blocked that went out for a corner, and a minute later it was 3-1. We weren't sitting in when we lost the first goal, far from it in fact.

I know we have a 3 goal cushion but Jesus Christ my nerves are rampant. Hopefully get an early goal or two to settle the nerves.

The heat is going to be horrible and there'll be moments where we will have to sit back to conserve energy

Sit back, play defensive and hit on counter. With Brendan though, we have a manager that can, and will change the game. He won't sit by and watch if things aren't going to plan. So with all that, I'm relatively confident.

Feel kind of sick. Have enough errands to get me through until about 3 and then it's an agonising waiting game.

We took our foot off the gas. We weren't closing down the same, we were putting hardly any pressure on the opposition when they had the ball, we looked like we were trying to play a counter attacking game and it backfired.

    We've scored 14 goals in 3 games..

We'll defo score at least 1 and I've got a feeling it will be early doors to make it 6-2.

    Job done.

Same team as the weekend, but with Lustig in for Janko.

First time I have not been nervous for theses games. I have complete faith in Rodgers to stop the away game collapse.
Also we are a better side. Play smart with possession football. Don't need to be chasing balls in that heat.

I think we'll get a couple of early goals that will put the tie to bed, then we can sit back and hit on the counter if need be.

My only concern is that Rodgers doesn't know how to play away in Europe and that we will commit too many men forward, leaving gaps at the back.
