Might have done one of these threads a couple years ago. So I’ll put a new one up because from I was a kid when I was breakdancing, I’ve been fascinated by Graffiti and was always strong believer that it was art before the luvvies caught on.

So I’ll start with a few of Banksy as everyone knows him. I’ll try to keep updated with pics or interviews. I have a few world artists on instagram I stay in touch with. So I’ll highlight some of their work as well. Don’t know if much guys on here into it. But seen some pics posted, so hopefully an interesting thread for you.

Few people I grew up with used to be rampant with it and travelled all the tube line's..

Wasn't a bit of me. Dafty done it once, got grassed up letter through the door and grounded for a month for doing it in an estate near me. A playground..

    Was about 13/14..

    :giggle1:

Cameras done us. All got letters through the door's. Was in our own area. 2 estate's away..

Was the only time I personally ever done it as well..

    Chezzah. Don't ask me why..

A boy from my way used to get nicked for it all the time when still doing it for year's. Jeko was his. All over London everywhere..

    Ended up homeless..

So the lesson is, unless your Banksy.....Graffiti doesn't pay folks :giggle1:

They're class to be fair and proper skilled artists..

Just never saw the fascination with them when loadsa kid's were at it. Especially just taggers doing their name everywhere..

Actually used to attract trouble on the tube line's late at night in other area's and other graffiti taggers all doing same thing..

Aye folder thing as well of all of us and the name tags :giggle1:

You literally couldn't write it :fear:, was never bothered about it then get nabbed climbing up the frame and spraying away in the park :56:

    * that :giggle1:, got threatened with us all having to clean it up but we never had to in the end. My da wouldn't let me out and all the other wee *'s I could hear out playing football and getting turned away at my door :giggle1:

Didn’t work as I was getting in trouble constantly for year's after that which led to me getting thrown out the house about 2 year later :58:
