Just saw a link in regards to the Linfield v Glentoran game yesterday. Cliftonville players Boyce and Devlin were subjected to sectarian abuse and death threats of having their throats slit on the way out of the ground. On fan was described as a kid aged 12. They were given the tickets of a Linfield player who is a friend of theirs.

Bigoted sick jealous people haha :icon_mrgreen:

I'm terrible with adding links so if someone could that would be great.

Loyalists would never act in such an undignified manner so that rules them out.No doubt it was some Sinn Fein/IRA/PSNIRA imposters.

Jesus, I remember Davie Weir was outside Celtic Park a few seasons back when he was playing for Rangers (probably same reason, Celtic player he knew gave him ticket or something) and the worst he got was a 10 year old ned drawing him a dirty look.

Shows you the type of people some sets of supporters have compared to others, eh?

They can go to any match they want, and should never be the subject of sectarian abuse, shameful that it happened no matter what.

It's not really shameful, it's expected. If you're a tim and you go to a hun match what the * do you expect? Them to present you with jelly and ice cream and a personalised tricolour?

Liam Boyce can try and rape me if he wants, it still makes him a numpty :56:

I think hurling sectarian abuse at people is shameful. Just because it's what to expect from them doesn't make it they're any less in the wrong.

Do you think Neil Lennon deserved to get battered that time when he got attacked in the west end? The west end is crawling with huns, so really he deserved it I guess?

Mind these * came to Sligo few years back, real scum of the earth. I have no idea why any well known Clifftonville players would go to a game like that. Lets face it imagine a couple of sevco players were to come to a game at CP , the same * would happen.

They where stupid going to it, espically as they are Cliftonville players.
I would not set foot near winsor park, and nor should they have.

Bit extreme to suggest the west end is crawling with huns. Very even from my 27 years experience.

No because Neil Lennon was just walking down the street either on his own or with his family, minding his own business. If Lenny had walked into Ibrox singing The Celtic Symphony though, it would have been understandable.

It's not justified of course not but this is huns we're talking about here. I'm not naive.
