Once bought a bag of videos at a car boot sale- in amongst them was one marked 'owl documentary'. It sat by the tv for months until my grandpa came to stay with us after being in hospital- stuck it in for him before I left for school..... the nurse came in half an hour later on her visits and embarrassingly for him
It was a hard core *! Poor auld * couldn't get up to switch it off and I'd left the tv on full volume!

    Just watched Supersonic.

I thought I was going to enjoy it, but apart from a couple of parts, I thought it was poor.

Watched it on a bus to France for our Modern Studies trip. I was raging because i brought Blade on vhs but they never let me play it cause it was 18. Got right tuned in to it though so glad I watched it.

The last days in Vietnam, totally heartbreaking stuff, some of the US Marines that had to leave those people behind were racked with guilt.

This is worth a watch, scary and informative as well. We got hit by an asteroid in 2008 and had under 24 hours notice, thankfully it landed in a desert otherwise it could have wiped out a city if it had exploded above ground, as opposed to hitting the ground. Scientists estimate there are about a million of these asteroids out in space .. They could be as small as 30/50 meters in radius. This part is discussed from about 46 mins in.

All squaddies are mindless * though .. aren't they.

Not at all it's like any walk of life arseholes and psycho * are present, as much as I hate them being places they shouldn't because of * in control, it doesnt take away from the fact that a lot do think they are there for a greater good, the one Marine that told the people holed up in the embassy they would all get out then had to abandon them will never forgive himself.

I know what you are saying is right, however lots seem to think they are 'thick mindless thugs etc' which is a pretty dumb attitude to have which is the point I was, in a roundabout way, making. :50:
