Mjallby is a good shout too. Vengelos signed him and he was seen more as a cm but was never very good until martin oneill moved him to cb. Thank * he did.

There was a Bulgarian guy (cant remember his name) who signed at the same time as Stan who was supposed to be the better player but he was total gash.

His name was Milen Petkov. He didnt go on to be star anywhere else after Celtic decided not to sign him so it was probably a good decision.

Alan Stubbs. Poor first season but became our best defender at the time.

Not sure i'd call Petta a good Celtic player. Had the odd good game but was more * than good imo.

He'll always be loved for the 6-2 game.

Moussa had a slow start. Think that he only made team because Griff was injured before the 5-1 game.
    The rest is history.

Agree on all of this. Especially the left back bit. People tend to forget his POTY season was spent mostly at left back not cb.

The title winning game at Rugby park was one of the best individual performances I've ever seen from a Celt.

Being remembered fondly i'd say Henrik, Petrov and Hartson.

With the current squad i'd say Lustig, Simunovic, Boyata and Rogic.

Might sound like heresy but I'm sure the magnificent 7 wasn't great in his first few games with us, it was heresy a bolt of lightning just missed me

Mind his sister spent that season dying of cancer, I've heard it took a massive toll on him. Even at that he didn't have a bad season, just wasn't outstanding.

I agree with Forster, he was a big reason we lost 3-1 to the Huns at CP in October 2010. Pretty sure miller scored from one of his goal kicks.

Virgil had a bit of a horrible debut over in Kazakhstan if I remember rightly. Played at the back alongside that big donkey moyokolo and had a bit of a nightmare.

He turned out to be ok I suppose.
