I remember that, a really neat turn - Del Piero-style.

He also scored 4 at Dunfermline when we scored 8 there. Was that the same game? Lennon scored, and Maloney hit a beauty. Think they were all outshone by big Jim Hamilton, mind :56:

I must be getting him mixed up with someone a striker that took 7 or 8 odd games to get a goal?

    Hartson took 11, I think.

    Miller took about that much.

Did Mark Wilson not play at centre back against the huns as well once?

Alan Stubbs had a nightmare debut up at Pittodrie, he was all over the place sent off with us only snatching a late equaliser, he then went on to be one of our best centre backs of the last few decades.

I am never too worried about a player not playing well at the start . I have seen a few come in on a high & struggle to maintain that form , but often a player who takes time to settle down with us, often goes on to have a good career with us .

Petrov. Was played out of position at first and took time to settle.

Fraser Forsters kicking was * at best for the first 6 months he was here.

Think the biggest one from the current side is definitely Armstrong. From out of his depth to a midfield dynamo in what is a better side than when he first joined.

We're poorer without him in the side, despite there still being plenty room for him to grow on an individual basis.

Armstrong is one of my favourite turnarounds.

Was the definition of average before this season. He's now growing month by month and developing into what we hoped he would.

Credit to Ronny for bringing him in.
