    Hi I'm traveling over for the Scotland V Ireland game. I haven't been over since I was younger font no the town.
    I'm in a wheelchair a big Celtic fan. I'm trying to stay in around the city center. I'm looking for a hotel near Glasgow central train station. But any advice on best area to stay in the city center because I'll be prob getting a taxi to the game as the trains will be mad.

    I stayed here last week, £64 for a room with two beds and is literally right next to Glasgow central and 1 min away from the taxi rank.

    Rooms are pretty decent, you can ask for a smoking room if you smoke.

    edit: ah *. fully booked it looks like.

    Don't think you'll get many hotels in the city centre that still have rooms at this stage.

    Anyone hear anything bad about the in travelogue paisley street. 15 mins from the station.

    You sure they have rooms for the Friday night?

    Be careful if you need to walk to the underground there is a nasty Hun pub there called the District Bar, stay well clear...:50:
