Stuck at work so will catch up tonight. Watched the practice coverage and it was brutal yesterday. As you say, be good if the wind eased a bit.

 

My money is on reed he's outstanding on this type of course I wouldn't rule out rose or DeChambeau either

Aye saw that it was like the weather here this morning, sky are following Spieth Rory and Mickelson just now as the main group but none are doing to well

Weather taking its toll

That us coverage earlier was the worse iv saw, commentary was terrible and the following of one group only ruined it for me, glad its back to trusted old format that sky do very well imo the us coverage is pish

Where were you watching it mate? I know that the Canadian sports channel whatever it’s caled have four different channels that follow groups or certain holes at the masters, might be the same idea.

 

Sky sports the open, I watched some the masters on IPTV ten sports I think it was called had a few channels showing it but was I little glitchy at times or volume would cut out, it was just the earlier one group was the only coverage until 4.30 now its following all groups now which I much prefer,

That was bizarre. Whilst he quoted a rule that allows him to do it and receive a 2 shot penalty, he could actually have been disqualified under another rule. Bit of a farce really.

Aye, Koepka’s done well to retain it. When I saw the shot tracer on his approach to 18 there I thought he was in the grandstand!! That woulda been interesting.

 

The ball was rolling off green he would have been 2 shots to hole out anyway think he was just * off with the course it beat him up, should have been DQ.

Outstanding round from fleetwood. He was so unlucky with his last put, don’t know how that didn’t go in, which would of took him to a play off.

 

Well that’s the town already getting busy for the week ahead. Cannot wait for this.

The course is looking fantastic, the greens have been kept incredibly green despite the dry weather and they have let the fairways dry right out. Nice and brown which should see balls roll for miles. 400+ yard drives galore proper links golf. The rough is nothing like it was in ‘07 which should keep some of the moaners happy.

Depending on what the weather has in store we could see a 64. Tommy Fleetwood scored a record 63 in the Dunhill last year but the tees and pins were set up for a pro-am that day. Should be fun either way.

Looking forward to this, Knox out with tiger first day, he will have to keep to his own game and not let the crowd get to him should be a round he has never experienced before,

Course is playing very fast! The fairways quicker than the greens

Chances are DJ will be firing his 7 iron over 300 yards Two things that can happen here, you could get a great run all the way to the green or you can roll into one of the many, many bunkers or take a wicked bounce the wrong way.

In practice yesterday a lot were shooting through the greens but I expect they’ll get used to it before Thursday. Fleetwood was hitting three balls at times, course record holder too, he’s is one to look out for.

 

I don't understand all that betting stuff so I'll give it a miss and just enjoy the golf
