THAT newspaper says we are keeping tabs on Giovanni Troupee. He's a right back for Utrecht. 19 years old.

33 games this season with 4 goals and 4 assists.

I don't think it's an area we need to strengthen, with Lustig, Gamboa and the lad Ralston looks like a unit.

I'd like to see Ralston given some first team action for the rest the season, he looks like a man amongst boys at youth level.

I think we could be doing with a right back, to be honest. If not for next season then the season after.

Gamboa seems like he'll be nothing more than a back up. Lustig is still a good player but he's only going to go downhill and he doesn't have much pace. Ralston is a unit and still only 18 but I'm not sure about him. I've seen him a number of times and he doesn't seem great on the ball. He's strong and aggressive but I'm not convinced about his ability.

Gamboa has done well when he's had a chance, Lustig is vice-captain and is only 30 so has a few years left in him. Would like to see more of both Ralston and Gamboa and if we need to strengthen there we will, not a priority at the moment I don't think.

Unless Brendan sees Mika becoming a full time CB next season i would doubt it!

Centre Back, Centre Mid, Right Wing and CF i am sure will be the 4 key positions we will look to strengthen in the summer!

Totally agree, I feel right back is one of the main areas we need to strengthen , lustig is a good player but we could get better.

Nice to have, but not a priority for me. I'd want to get rid of a fair few before we recruited any more for that position.

CELTIC are NOT interested in a £1.75million swoop for FC Utrecht right-back Giovanni Troupee.
Reports in Holland claim the Hoops have sent scouts to watch the 19-year-old.
English Premier League side Bournemouth plus German clubs Borussia Moenchengladbach and Eintracht Frankfurt have also been linked with Troupee.
But SunSport understands Celts boss Brendan Rodgers is not keen on a move for Troupee, who became Utrecht’s youngest ever player when he made his debut three years ago.
Mikael Lustig is Rodgers’ first-choice right-back and signed a new deal in January to stay at Parkhead until 2019.
Cristian Gamboa was signed from West Brom last summer as back-up to Lustig and hasn’t let his team down when called upon.
AZ Alkmaar tried to sign Troupee in the January transfer window but Utrecht refused to sell to a Dutch rival.
Troupee, who has been tipped for a call-up to the Dutch national team, admitted last month he’d love to test himself at a bigger club.
Troupee said: “Of course it is flattering to hear your name linked with big clubs abroad.
“But no one has told me anything about it and I am just concentrating on improving my game here at Utrecht and continuing to learn.”
But Troupee won’t be furthering his career with Premiership champions Celtic.

Church is highly rated,we need to look at our youngsters first imo before signing players as back up.

    We'll sign him now, 100%.

In all seriousness if he's going to improve the team, it shouldn't matter who else we have in that position, he'll either displace them or make the current starter up their game. No one should feel their position is 100% safe.

This everyday of the week! Should always look for hairstyles first and ability later, I mean who even signs players in PES based on their skill? Brendan can just edit his abilities in the edit menu.
